Dr. Lans has been practicing medicine since 1985 and has been in private practice at our New Rochelle location since 1991. He has a great deal of experience as a clinician and educator and is a strong advocate of personalized medicine and preventive health care.
Dr. Lans graduated from Brandeis University and completed Medical School at Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery. He then completed a Medical Residency at SUNY Downstate Medical Center, where he served as Chief Medical Resident. He completed Fellowship training in Allergy and Immunology at Tufts University, followed by a Rheumatology Fellowship at The Hospital for Special Surgery in New York. He is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at New York Medical College and the Chief of Rheumatology at New York Presbyterian /Lawrence Hospital in Bronxville, New York. Dr. Lans is Board certified in Internal Medicine, Allergy and Immunology, and Rheumatology and is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians.
