Maud's/Intelligent Blends has some seriously great coffee. The coffee is why I've tried sooooooo many times to buy from them. Their kcup manufacturing is the deal breaker. Over and over and over and over I've had to clean up coffee ground mess and explosions in my Keurig. I've lost count. It's so depressing to smell the great aroma and see that beautiful cuppa sitting there mocking you...knowing it's full of coffee grounds. Adding insult to injury, now you have to clean the Keurig. Again. Maud's replaced 3 shipments...with the same substandard kcups. Maud's *knows* they have a problem, a multi-year problem. I'm done.
Good coffee...terrible logistics. Value is a product of what you get for what you pay. Maud's is good coffee for the price but after waiting TWO WEEKS for an order to even be shipped I cancelled the order. Whoever manages logistics and fulfillment needs to switch off of decaf. I am going to try Amazon for fulfillment of the same product. DO NOT BUY DIRECTLY if you want to avoid frustration.
The decaf pod samplers are useful but after you pick your favs you can't order the flavors individually except for Caramel, Raspberry and Banana. Plus there are four flavored decaf pods printed on the sampler box that don't even exist on the website see pic. Phone calls and emails have not resolved the problem. I am beginning to wonder if the coffee comes from a third party and Intelligent Blends doesn't control the quality, process or inventory? If they controlled the roasting, decaffeination and blending then it makes no sense that some of the decaf is only available in samplers and some not at all.
I’ve ordered from Intelligent Blends many times. My first disappointment was 2 weeks before Christmas, I ordered 2 100-pack K-cups of coffee, one as a present for my mother, the other for myself. She mentioned coffee at Christmas and I realized I hadn’t gotten the order. After Jan 1 I called and was told delay in shipping. I ended up getting the order more than a month after I ordered. ZERO communication between ordering and receiving other than my phone call. I will pay extra for better communication.
I have a subscription for Maud’s half-caff coffee pods with this company. I’m supposed to receive a shipment every two months. I was charged for a shipment on January 17, 2023. It is now March 9, 2023 and I still don’t have the coffee. When I check my order on their website, it says it’s “unfulfilled”. I’ve contacted the company several times and have been told it will be taken care of, but it hasn’t. Now, I’m trying to get my money back. I like their coffee, but they can’t be trusted to fulfill orders.
The artificial flavoring for their coffee literally has a label that that states "long term exposure can cause organ damage". If that isn't enough to stay away from them, then idk what is.
Absolutely the worst place to work for. They throw you in the 1st day with no training and procedures while the supervisor yells in your face that you have to speed up the process. Also they don't treat the temporary employees the same as permanent employees , got sent home unpaid an hour early due to temporary employees couldnt stay for an taco catering event, I felt completely embarrassed. Do better Intelligent Blends
I ordered 100 Espress-O Yourself pods and received only 68. The pods arrived in a plain box, with the original label having been ripped off the original box and taped to the new box. Someone at USPS or UPS clearly abused the shipment. I contacted Intelligent Blends at the toll-free # in one of the reviews on the same day, and after a conversation with someone they shipped out another box of 100. This box arrived much quicker than the first and was complete. They took care of their customer and the coffee is tasty. Thanks for the excellent customer service.
Coffee is good but customer service is severely lacking. Ordered a box of 100 breakfast blend pods and they were decent. I was running out and wanted to try other flavors. So I ordered two sample/variety boxes on 11/26. After emailing back and forth my package finally arrived on 12/19, a full 23 days later. I could have driven to California and back to pick up the coffee pods during that time period. Then their customer service representatives refuse to take the responsibility want to blame it on the carriers? I know Fedex and UPS are inundated with packages this time of year, but none of my other online shopping took 23 days to deliver. Don't bother to call them, no one answers their phone or calls you back. I won't be buying from Intelligent Blends again. UPDATE: The variety pack I wanted over 3 weeks to receive only has 6 of the 8 varieties it was supposed to come with. Terrible.
I was assigned a job from then about 3 weeks ago . I started on a Thursday , and I got released on my 3rd day after my shift due to , “lack of performance and motivation.” Do not come here if you’re looking for a stable job . The managers/supervisors don’t explain anything at all verbally , they just throw you in . I also am very sure that it is a racial thing going on there . I was the only African American there. It was predominantly Hispanic which I am obviously okay with but they are not it seems . I am a very hardworking individual, so I can’t possibly understand what went wrong . Hope you can fix this Intelligentblends, it isn’t healthy for the culture .
