INTENT was created in Spring 2012, when Co-Founders, Mary Ann & Rick realized that there was an opportunity to support people in the realm of health, wellness and sport on a deeper level. They were both training and racing (cycling, triathlon, running) and realized that without intention on every level, that the experience would lack depth, and commitment.
So they set out to start coaching people! INTENT started with some clinics, a few private training plan clients and 3 people wearing the same cycling jersey at races.
Since 2012 it has grown to a large community of people that train, race and live with INTENT! INTENT now has a multisport training center in Woodridge, IL, a large multisport team (full of runners, triathletes and more), a multifaceted bike racing team, events and more!
INTENT is founded on the belief that when you understand WHY you do what you do, you are more committed, passionate and dedicated to what you do. It is also founded on the the principle of being INCLUSIVE, so anyone and everyone can be a part of the INTENT community. Egos get checked at the door and whether you are a member of one of the INTENT teams, attend fitness classes at the training center or are privately coached, YOUR INTENT MATTERS and you will be supported with the highest level of athletic coaching and personal attention that we can provide.

At our INTENT Multisport Training Center we offer: Functional Fitness Strength Training, Indoor Cycling Classes on Wahoo Kickr Trainers, Run & Triathlon Coaching & Training.
