Interim HealthCare of Meadville PA

Initial contact went well- nurse manager came to our home to talk with me about setting up services for my child. After our initial visit I did not hear anything so I checked in. I did receive a text back from her very late in the day stating that she had a lot of trouble getting information from my daughter’s doctor-which I find hard to believe but none the less. Any effort to contact her after that was ignored. She sent me to voicemail on her cell, didn’t return calls from messages left at her office. The office staff told me not to bother leaving voicemails because she doesn’t check them. The last time I did try to co tact her she sent me to her voicemail after two rings with an automated text that said “Can I call you later?” I still haven’t received a return call. I reached out to another nursing company because if I can’t even get a e turn phone call I do not trust this company to care for my minor child and openly communicate. Very unprofessional way for someone, especially a nurse manager to treat someone that potentially would be a client. Our initial contact was July 24, so she would have been able to tell me something/anything even if she hadn’t gotten anywhere with services. I will never recommend this branch of the company to anyone due to there not being an open line of communication.

I had high hopes for Interim. They seemed nice and caring in the beginning. They had a caretaker for our disabled 2 year old daughter for a couple of months and everything was going fine, suddenly they want another caretaker to come train at our house incase our primary got sick or couldn't make it for some reason. Great idea. Turns out our primary caretaker is about to have surgery. Good thing we have the back up right? Nope she either quit or went somewhere else. Never heard from her again and no explanation was given. It's been about 7 weeks right now and the nurse still hasn't gotten surgery and says she might not need it. So we lost both of them on less than a 24 hour notice and no replacements. No calls or apologies. These people are completely out to lunch. They lack all empathy and professionalism. It's an embarrassment of a company so if you can, look elsewhere or prepare yourself for an abrupt disappointment when you least expect it.

all the staff at Interim are so caring and attentive to my dad's needs. their like an extended family. they took such great care of my mom, who passed peaceful at home in May of 2020. we're very blessed to have them in our lives.
