Really some of the worst customer service I’ve ever dealt with. You call and call and call, leave message after message, they never return calls. When you do finally get a hold of them, you get put on hold and then hung up on him I finally went into their office, and there are the people sitting around their desks, not doing anything talking to each other. I called the number and watched as it rang and rang and no one picked up.
I don't feel like they listened to my needs. Lots of back and forth that uses up a lot of time trying to get things right. Long schedule times. Difficult to schedule with. Takes a long time to get in. They seem irritated and not very flexible with scheduling. Sleep studies are also very expensive. Just not been a great experience.
Despite a paniced phonecall from their office on Thursday 4/22/21 stating I needed to complete their initial questionnaire ASAP because their provider needed to have time to read and chart my answers before my appointment Monday morning, and an email with the same information being sent immediately afterward, my appointment was apparently for a different day. I woke up early and rearranged my schedule only for their front office to attempt to gaslight me that saying everything they communicated with me had indicated a Thursday appointment. I've got the email pulled up in front of me confirming today's date.
Almost impossible to schedule, had to call every day for 2 weeks after they received my Dr referral. When my results came back, they were obviously not mine, had 5 major discrepancies including my gender. After multiple calls over 2 weeks by myself & my Dr, we were told "oh that shouldn't have been in there, but we can't take it out. We will put in an addendum that those parts are wrong, but the results are still correct". I went over at length how the results still did not match my memories of the daytime study. I asked with those further discrepancies how I knew those test results were actually mine. Was told to just trust it & there's "nothing we can do". So after 24 hours of testing, a month of waiting, & many phone calls, I have no idea what my actual results are. What a joke. I will say the staff who was there during the study were fine.
For whatever reason, I was referred to TOSH SDC when I live in Herriman. I realized I could change to Riverton Hospital when I received a letter from IHC informing me of the referral from my PCP to an IHC SDC along with a list of all the IHC SDCs in Salt Lake County. I called and was able to change the location of my appointment, and during a second call was also able to get an email describing the location of the SDC within the Riverton Hospital. My contacts with IHC staff during this process were very helpful.
My husband had been waiting for over two months to get in to see this specialist. We were wanting to have a constructive discussion about things we could do to make his sleeping better. The guy comes in and the second my husband made a joke about his weight, the whole appointment was about that. Even when my husband told him he had these issues when he was at a healthy weight, it was all disregarded. Then it was comical what the doctor/PA claimed sleep apnea would fix. Had we known this would be our experience, we would have waited for an appointment at another facility.
These jokers thought it would be a wonderful idea to remotely change the pressure settings on my CPAP after I explicitly told them to leave the pressure alone to uncomfortable levels on the night of the 3rd of July, knowing they would be closed on July 4th, leaving me unable to use the CPAP machine for two full nights. We’ll see if they’re able to change it on the 5th or if I’m stuck being unable to use it for four full nights.
I've had two sleep studies here. Both of them went well. Everything was clean and orderly and both technicians were pleasant and helpful. Sleep studies aren't fun, but they made the experience as accommodating as possible.
If I could I would give this place 0 stars I had a scheduled video appointment I called 10 minutes after my appointment and they confirmed my appointment and told me they would call me in 10 minutes the Doctor decided not to show up for his appointment I could have made a different Doctor appointment for today they totally wasted my time I just want to know how I can bill them for this and possibly send them to collections
You need to call them and almost guide them through e v e r y step of their process. The front office seems super dysfunctional. Sadly they were the closest SDC and covered under our insurance.
