A cross-cultural living and learning residence on Loyola's Lake Shore Campus.
The mission of the International House is to promote cross-cultural learning by creating a community in which students live and interact with other students from different countries. This is accomplished by having roommates from various countries. Cross-cultural learning can also occur in the five shared community areas such as the kitchen, lounge, or study room. Each month the International House hosts events that encourage communication and community building. International students are also paired with an American Host Student to help them navigate the Loyola campus and get accustomed to living in Chicago.
