I’ve been with Dr. Chapman and I see Nigra as well. They have always been very caring and supportive of what’s best for me. I like how they are with me and when I get a procedure Dr. Chapman is the best and the staff are thoughtful and great definitely know what they are doing and they try to make it easier for you. I’ve been with them for years and I have always from day 1 felt comfortable I recommend them 100%…
I have always been treated with great respect and kindness at the pain clinic. I am always as well treatéd with compassion. I see an APN most often which is fine and then see Dr Chatman upon request or at least once ór twice a year. He is a very lovely soft spoken man with lots of compassion while he treats his patients with chronic on going paín. He has a lovely and loving staff who genuinely care about the patients. Only problem I have ever had is some of the actual office staff but that seems to be gradually improving. They have had some changes in staff at the front desk. They have a set of twins that work there, they are both so cute, funny and beyond delightful. If everyone was líke them then everyone would love going to the doctor. Overall I have mostly great encounters and am so pleased that I go to this particular facility. I will say things have speeded up significantly since they E-script all our meds the wait afterwards has been diminished to nearly zero waiting time where before it might be 30 minutes to an hour, Praise God cuz I have other things to do with my time!
I seen Dr Krafft about back, pelvis and knee pain from a car accident I was in. Provided MRI’s to prove I got metal rods and pins. And all he wanted to talk about was my weight. And how my soon to be gastric bypass surgery would fail. Didn’t even look at my X-rays! Then had the audacity to say “I know you probably won’t come back next month”. Nope I sure will not.
I see alot of people complaining on here and I don't understand why. If you have legit issues that are documented and mri's or x-rays to prove so they'll help you. Everyone wants to run to pills or get mad when Dr's tell us to lose weight. I started out at 360 pounds and I'm down to 200. yes I still have issues and hurt bad but I feel so much better now. They truly care but the way things are now they can't just go giving medicine away because other people ruined it for the ones who need actual care, it's NOT the clinics fault. If you have issues I suggest to go thru there system try the shots, try the nerve burning. I have 2 Collapsed disk, and also need titanium in both knees, and whats helped me more then anything was losing weight and Getting my nerves carterized. It only last a year or sometimes less but it works amazingly. Everyone's goals should be to get healthy, healed and not rely on medicine atleast those are my goals. Cheers people I pray everyone has a pain free life...
Doctors are good, but office staff lacks a lot. I've been trying to get my prescription for celebrex for over a week. Not sure anyone in this office knows what they're doing.
In all honesty, I was super nervous to go to my first appointment. I had never been to pain management at all. I was referred to them by my spine clinic, I had ACDF surgery last year, because I have an irritated nerve in my neck from a bad fall. So I got sent a new patient packet in the mail that was kind of...intimidating. I was confused on some of the questions just because I was not on any pain medicine other than over the counter ibuprofen. I did the best I could and went. It was an AWESOME experience! They were short staffed and the wait was a little long, but I did not mind in the least, everyone was working hard and running around and yet still so nice and helpful and overall great! I told the nurse that talked to me before the doctor that I was referred to get steroid injections, but my insurance denied the authorization, which I got told from a phone call with them and that's when my appointment was made. She waved her hand and said "We'll take care of that" and was so warm and confident it made me feel 10x better about a slightly terrifying procedure that I want but I am scared of. Dr. Chatman came in and he didn't stay too long, but was very open and upfront, and I just adored talking with him. He was also very helpful, and him and the nurse approved of the fact I didn't want to take narcotics if I could help it. They are helping me get set up with alternative pain management, including some non-narcotic medicine and a medical green card! They have reapplied for the injections, and while I do think it might take some time, I am very very happy with the care I have gotten. It was truly better than anything I could hope for!
Dr. Kraft didn't care where I had pain. The only thing he wanted to talk about is my weight. Yes I am obese. No I don't believe that's why my hands hurt or my shoulders. He continues to tell me I need to not eat for 18 hours each day. Only eat during a 6 hour window. Never offered any help with pain. Not therapy, not injections NOTHING. I left there sobbing. I have hurt for years and it's finally got to the point I needed help and nope.i was basically told I'm too fat for medication help. Thank goodness I'm not super depressed and suicidal because I assure you the treatment I received from Dr. Kraft could have been the straw that broke the camel's back. He did agree to do an MRI but waiting on that to be scheduled. He needs to relearn how to address patients in a caring manner and maybe not take patients that are obese. Because he won't do anything for them anyways. I'm praying that I can see a different provider.
Follow up, next day: I spoke to the office manager and she was understanding and apologetic for the treatment. I'm bumping up the review from 3 stars to 4. I'll reiterate that the medical service in the back doctors, nurses, physician assistants have always been 5 stars. My doctor and nurse practitioner are great. The receptionists are rude and hateful. I asked a question and two jumped all over me and made me cry. I'm 41... I haven't had a stranger make me cry in 25 years! If they hate people that much they should not be working at a job where people in horrible chronic pain need assistance.
I have been around a lot of Doctors professionally because I am an RN. I saw Dr. Ryan Krafft as a patient for chronic back pain. He is one of the worst Doctors I have had to deal with in regards to myself. I absolutely don't recommend him. He didn't recommend injections, or medication. He told me he believes me that I am in pain, but everyone hurts, even him. I was told to lose weight. I returned after a lumbar MRI and was told my lumbar was "perfect". I asked to see the MRI and was told he couldn't show me. He was very proud that I had lost weight and told me to "keep it up". I told him that a previous MRI was not perfect, and it doesn't make sense that I could be in so much pain with absolutely nothing wrong with me. He said "well I could beat you on the back with a baseball bat and it would hurt, but it wouldn't show on an MRI. I countered and said "it would leave marks" He said "not if you don't lift your shirt." He then laughed at his spectacular joke. I hope I can at least stop one person from wasting their time with this man. He crushed me by sending me home twice and basically told me I would just have to live with the pain. I am so frustrated with this attitude that doctors have toward their patients. I don't know what to do now. I'm sitting here in agony with no help in sight. I don't know how long I can live like this. I hope this review helps someone else.
I have been to doctors in Kansas City, Springfield, Little Rock. I have never been to a place as professional, caring and helpful as Dr Chapman, De Stephanie and their staff. I would recommend them to anyone. I cannot say enough good comments to explain how the treatment has helped my life, it also saved my life. Eternally grateful.
