A place for experimentation, invention, and inquiry.
We have a creative space (2,400 square feet) for scientific inquiry and invention (technological design). We are a nonprofit without 501 (c) (3) status (hope to obtain it within the year). We have day jobs but put our hearts and souls into the sessions we run. This is a passion project!
Our programs are varied: We attempt everything from studies of animal/plant interactions to designing Zambonis.
We encourage self-reliance, inquiry skills, team-building, and problem solving.
The new Ohio science standards are "live" this year (i.e., the assessment goes live) and there are too many of these standards for our teachers to address adequately, especially with the recent focus on Common Core State Standards in mathematics and ELA/language arts.
Our goal: Engage kids in science while they're still young. Research shows that failure to do so has disastrous consequences in later grades.
Engage young minds. Help them discover unimaginable possibilities. Change the world, one child at a time.
