My mission is to improve the brain's capacity to function at optimum level which will allow for good grades and self esteem for kids, higher functioning for people who have suffered brain damage and better vision, cognitive processing and memory for those who want to improve their brain power.
Dr. Taddei has over 30 years' experience in both traditional and developmental optometry. Dr. Taddei and her staff are dedicated to providing the highest quality vision care to children and adults in a friendly, comfortable and professional atmosphere.

Is Your Child Prepared?
Vision is the ability to identify, interpret and understand what is seen; eyesight is merely the ability to see. Although your eyesight may test “normal”, your visual skills may be seriously impaired.
Eighty percent of learning is through the visual system. According to the Better Vision Institute, school eye screenings generally miss 70-80% of children's vision problems. Undetected vision problems may cause a child to dislike reading, resulting in learning difficulties, slow performance or fatigue. Visual problems can cause a child to be labeled as “slow” or even ADD.
Some visual problems cannot be treated adequately with just glasses or contact lenses, and are best treated through a vision therapy program. It is important to the child (or the adult) to realize the cause of their reading problem. Early detection is extremely important in addressing a proper multi-disciplinary team approach to treatment. Vision Therapy can help treat associated eye tracking, eye teaming, eye focusing and visual processing deficits.

Treatment for Binocular Vision Conditions, such as Amblyopia (lazy eye), Convergence Insufficiency (near vision disorder), Diplopia (double vision), Lack of Stereopsis (two-eyed depth perception), and Strabismus (cross-eyed, wandering eye, eye turns, etc.)
