Iowa Veterans Cemetery

Ceremony for my father in law yesterday was absolutely perfect! Everything from the staff, cleanliness of the property, could not have asked for a much better play to lay him to rest!

Where heroes lie. Great place for reflection and to teach the next generation about how their freedom was maintained. Well worth some time to visit.

I really appreciate this place! When my father passed away they went above and beyond!

So proud to be an American and an Iowan after attending a burial service here today. What a beautiful cemetery! The land, the view, the facilities were all spectacular. I loved the representatives of the Navy who were in their dress blues and guarded the deceased with honor and integrity. Taps brought tears to my eyes, as did the folding and presenting of the flag. Thank you for such special moments for me and all in attendance.

This is one of the most beautiful cemeteries I have ever seen in my life. So proud that my mother and father are here. The people that work here are just as beautiful as the place itself.

1st of all why do they clise at 4:00 pm?Especially on Memorial Day. All other cemeteries are open until dusk. 2nd no questions are ever answered about services. No one seems to know anything. Beautiful place just poorly staffed.

My mother and father rest peacefully on a hill waiting for my husband and I to join them. Employees are courteous and caring at all times. Thank you for caring.

Most incredible breathtakingly beautiful veterans cemetary this side of Arlington Nat'l cemetery! A very moving place!!!

My Amazing father is buried in this GORGEOUS and wonderfully blessed and beautiful VETERANS cemetery and I am so very proud of him!

This has always been a beautiful Cemetery. However, this year there is an abundance of weeds and the lawn does not really look well maintained.
