LOL well it seems odd to say "loved it" when talking about a root canal! But Dr Baum is really that good. He has done root canals on 2 of my teeth and I've consistently been impressed with the way he thoroughly explains everything while he is working....even with nitrous oxide a patient is still aware of what is going on, and he understands that concept. He also makes certain that the area is good and numb before he does anything. It does take a certain knack to properly administer a local anesthetic and he certainly knows how to do that. He made sure I was comfortable during and after the procedure, and explained that I still might have some soreness afterwards so I knew what to expect. I am really a wimp when it comes to dental procedures and once I explained that, both he and the office staff did everything to put me at ease. I recently moved from another state and it was so hard to find an endodontist I could trust to do a good job with the tooth without causing any more pain than I already had! I just got lucky finding Dr Baum. I would recommend him highly.
Dr. Baum is the best dentist I have ever been to. He was pleasent and explained every step of the root canal in a calm matter. He takes time to ask you if you’re okay and it shows he cares about his patients. I felt very comfortable and did not feel any pain or discomfort during my root canal. I highly recommend Dr. Baum to any body looking for an endodontist. His office also accepts the Aetna dental access savings plan which is very convient for individuals without insurance.
He is an amazing Endodontist. He explains everything every step of the way in a calm and relaxing manner. Came in for the second part of the root canal and he was so gentle I slept through the whole thing. Incredible. After years of bad experiences I finally found an endodontist that I can trust. I am lucky to have found him and would highly recommend him to anyone in need of root canal work.
I got my root canal finished today. Dr. Baum was very good, he explained what he was doing in calming way. I didn't feel a thing after the novocaine needle,which felt like a pinch and tiny sting. I'm going to get a crown soon.
Probably one of the best doctors - regardless of specialty - that I have ever visited. Very gentle and caring. Drive over an hour to his office anytime I needed root canal - amazing man!
