The place has really cleaned up with the new manager in place. Issues and concerns that I had were immediately addressed and resolved. If looking for storage facilities I would recommend iStorage to others.
Louis was so wonderful to work with. The place is amazing and she has really cleaned it up! She worked with me and helped me get the right size storage unit and helped transfer without any hesitation! She went the extra mile and had me set up and ready to go within minutes! Highly recommend this place for any storage, she is the one to see, you will not be disappointed.
Louis is amazing!! Recently this property came under new management and immediately things began to improve! Her personable approach to my concerns coupled with her drive to make positive changes is unparalleled! She has no problem working with you if needed, she understands life happens! She will do whatever she can, even going out of her way to provide excellent customer service! I'm sure she inherited a giant mess and do you think that soured her at all? Heck no! I was actually planning on moving to another complex but because of Louis and her dedication and hard work I wouldn't dream of it! Keep it up darling, you are amazing! Thank you so much! ***management shake her hand, pat her on the back, give her a giant raise and realize what an amazing asset you have in her!***
The place has gone downhill. It's no longer secure and there's all sorts of strange people running around. While the automobile gate is secure the walkthrough date is left open 24/7 there are people riding their bikes through that and going back and forth to certain storage units on a regular basis. It appears to me that some people may be doing business out of storage units, like auto repair, or running "bike chop shops"...or worse. I've rented there a year and a half and just yesterday they sent me a notice that my rent is going up by $60 and they are tacking on a $12 "insurance fee" each month. That was the last straw. Meanwhile the place is deteriorating and the manager is never there. Today it had posted hours of 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 pm. for the manager to be present.... And of course that person wasn't there. I came by several times. I probably tried half a dozen times to locate a manager during my time renting there in the past 18 months with no success. I've already secured a much less expensive and much more modern and secure storage facility in the Sparks area. I won't miss this place at all. For anyone considering a storage unit I would avoid this place like the plague. UPDATE: They must have read this review because the very next day there was a padlock on the walkthrough gate. It had been open for months.
Why pay for a place to store your belongings if you can NEVER ACCESS IT!!! The "security patrol" is an abusive heroin addict and with his beaten and psycho barely legal junkie girlfriend living in their unit and robbing other units really makes it hard for others when they keep you out during normal business hours. I pay for a unit that.has now COST ME MY MOVE BACK HOME. I can't move because I can't get my stuff because the hallway is ALWAYS locked when I try to get it done. The manager is nice, but the rest is not acceptable. The company won't even grant a discount for the basic undeserved hostage situation involving my stuff. I was supposed to move, and can't because of the issues with my unit and don't feel safe because of the crazy "security". I wish I never rented here. Bad policy and bad business. Go ANYWHERE ELSE!
The manager is very helpful and excellent service for all types of needs for all the customers that are looking for there placement of their home and business needs as well as a clean and secure environment facility. JW
Rented a storage online. When I went to use it for the first time it was VERY dirty and the hasp on the unit door was broken so we weren't even able to lock the unit. There was trash all over the grounds and you can tell that it is not taken care of. I would NEVER be willing to pay $300/month for this unit and I would not recommend renting a unit from here!
Very affordable and easy to set up, management was very honest and easy to work with.
Prices go up every 3 months. No notice. My unit has been broken into twice. My lock has been changed with no notice. Last manager was arrested for burglary. Can't wait to get out.
Initially we enjoyed meeting the new management. After five months rent has increased already without warning. I called and they bascially said corporate mails them out and insinuated it was my fault since my address was not listed on the electronic form which was pre-filled out by them. I had only to sign and intial. They have all my info on the form I filled out in person. On the first they have a delinquent notice on your account before the day is done. They did say for this month they would only charge the rate I was paying so that is the 3 stars plus she was not horrible on the phone and did listen to meI was not happy. Everytime we go there it has units wide open with trash and debris spilling out and looks as though people are living in them. Theft is common there so be sure to keep it securely locked and check on your unit often since they make it clear they are not responsible and no type of security. Too bad about the negatives since the managers do seem like nice people and my unit itself serves our needs.
