On April 7, 2013 athletes start with a 1.2-mile, one-loop saltwater swim in leading to a 56-mile one-loop bike course along the Texas Gulf Coast. The 13.1-mile, four-loop run is fast and flat running through Moody Gardens and along Offats Bayou.
