"Family Health Centers, Inc. is a not-for-profit community health center with 8 locations throughout Louisville Metro. FHC provides primary and preventive care to adults, women and children. Our vision of service is to provide you and your family with the same care and attention we would want for our families and ourselves. We are open to anyone who needs health care. Our sliding fee discounts are for individuals or families below 200% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines. Our minimum fee for individuals at 100% FPL or below is $20.00 for medical services and $30.00 for dental services."

The larger lady with long braided weaves working in Labs today has an attitude problem that needs adjusting. I understand we all have bad/off days however she is at work & doesn't need to be getting nasty with patients; that's not professionalism. If she doesn't want to be pleasant & do a good job at providing customer service, find a replacement that will improve your reputation not further degrade it.
This is the worst doctors office I’ve ever been to in my life. The very first time I came I waited for two hours and then was told my doctor couldn’t see me. I was going for issues with my back that I’m just now finding out about, I got an MRI back in May and called the doctors office four times to request my doctor call me and discuss the results. Never did, I had to get an appointment. I get one then I get restrictions in a note I asked for , so then my work couldn’t work me. I get documents for work that need to be filled out by my doctors and my doctor didn’t get to it for two weeks. Just picked it up today and it’s missing a document. Nothing against the actual nurses, or even my doctor or the rest of the doctors. They are knowledgeable, and I get maybe they’re short staffed but this has been affecting my life too. Family Health Centers in general is not recommended by me. I will be finding a new doctor soon.
It's almost impossible to get a referral to see a specialist. Not to mention my pharmacy has recently no luck getting my primary Dr. To send in my refills of my medications that I need to take everyday. These medications are vital to keep my blood thin and my blood pressure down. I have yet been able to see a Dr. As most of the patient see the nurses.
worst clinic ever, the secretary the little one is the one messy on the clinic. don't know how to talk to people. if it wasnt for dr richardson, i will stay the clinic. But i don;'t trust the medical assistant, and the secretary. they 're talking between them so they can mess you with your due date shot and your appoitment especially the secretary. wrong front staff.
They have one of the best pediatricians team that I ever meet
If it weren't for the doctor that my kids have I would not go there. I've called 4 times 3 times hanged up on by the system I guess, and the 4th time hanged up the receptionist who I guess thought it would be nice. I sounded irritated trying to explain and she hanged up. My calls are always recorded so you can hear her hanging up. I am pregnant and with 2 kids so I really don't feel like going up there just to schedule an appt. If you don't like working with people restrain from playing with their lives.
Dr. Richardson is an amazing pediatrician and the front desk staff are so warm and wonderful! We have visited twice with our recently adopted son and they have been so flexible and accommodating. I would highly recommend them if you are looking for a good place to take your kids in the South end.
By far the worse Dr office around. Seen Erica Thomas and ask she did was want to push pills at me. The staff is so unprofessional and rude. They talk down to you and aren't willing to help with the simplest of things. Needless to say I'm going elsewhere.
Receptionists got an attitude!! Very unprofessional and disrespectful. They don’t even know how to talk to patients!!! This is Family health center used to be good but now it way different
Dr. Anna Huang is my Primary Care Physician. I like her a lot. She is very thrall. But unless you get the first appointment of the day then you will be there several hours.
