When she began creating he own work painting helped her better understand her core values, to dig into and explore what directs our path in life. Painting, for Isabelle also gives time for and support to meditation. The process of experimenting, failing, learning, trying again, sharing and adjusting within her work is for her a way to "put life under a magnifying glass" Isabelle uses brushes, palette knife, pastels and rags to create vibrant and engaging works of art. After her college studies, art classes at Les Beaux-Arts in Paris Isabelle Moved to Atlanta in 1999. A few years later, she began her professional career as an expressionist contemporary artist and was soon represented by galleries in the Untied States. Isabelle's most recent collection involves an exploration of Tachisme, a French abstract art movement characterized by non-geometric forms and intuitive, spontaneous gestures of her hand. This style can vary widely, but Isabelle has taken her love of minimalism a new height with a restricted palette and keenly honed graphic expression.
