called in to get some information but the woman who answered the phone came across very rude and told me she wasn't sure how long 3-4 inches is and I would need to come in to get a better idea. I don't think I would use this business even considering the prices.. Having ethnic natural hair is hard enough and for someone to come across as rude and unintelligent before even meeting can be a total turn off.

I needed my hair done last minute and thankfully they took me in. The braids are neat. I asked for medium size broxbraids. The ladies were very nice. The problem is that they are very slow!!!! It took almost 8 hours to complete my hair. It usually takes 3-4hrs the most when I go to other salons. I was the only customer too. Overall they did an amazing job but if you have things to do expect not to get it done because you will be here all day!!!

Price was decent for two corn rolls but the lady complained that I have too much hair. My hair is natural and curly 3B-4A type. My hair was detangled so I was unsure why it was difficult for her to do my hair. She offered to straighten it and I didn't like that. Overall the hair style came out nice and the price was good.

I came here in a quick pinch because my normal stylist was not able to get me in. They got me right in without any problems and last minute. Everyone was friendly, however it took 4 hours to do a touch up on my box braids which only takes an hour and 1/2 TOPS  where I normally go. After she was done they did not clean up the braids trim them for flyaway ect.. I actually stood in front of a mirror and started doing it myself and then they said that they would trim them. I have been getting my hair braided for 2+ years so I know the process and I was not happy with the length of time it took, the cleanliness of the store, and the braider seemed to be new or training. I will not be returning.

I go every month and they have become like family. I drive over 40 miles one way and it's worth it!

So I googled African hair braiding places near me and Isbats came up in my search so I decided to give it a try.  I called first and spoke with the owner who tells me for the style that I wanted 5 cornrows straight back it would be $10 a braid...Fine!!! I arrive to the shop and like anyone with manners I speak when I walk in the room...nothing but eye rolls!! Okkkkk....i still decided to stay. The owner that I spoke to over the phone 25 minutes ago turns around and says " Omg you have a lot of hair....it won't be $10  for you!!" So when I asked her how much she tells me it'll be $80 FOR 5 CORNROWS!!! ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND LADY!?! Perhaps when someone asks for a quote over the phone she should tell them it varies by hair length!!  Needless to say that I walked out without my hair done!!! WASTE OF MY PRECIOUS TIME!!!

I went to this salon to have two corm rows put in with extentions even though they take walk ins i was turned away... she had one other girl there who was getting her hair done but they hadn't even started.. they were chilling n talking.... the other girls expressed she was in no rush and she was ok with me getting to braids cuz it didn't take long. ... but i was still turned away...

I kind of like how my hair came out but goodness… the owner complains ALOT while doing your hair…Service:&nbsp;Hair extensions

Isbat and her staff were so nice..my six year old had box braids done and she was very dramatic and fussy. The girl who was braiding was VERY fast. Braids were neat and nice..
