Located at the Kansas University campus, this is the only Islamic center/masjid in Lawrence, KS. All people here are volunteers including the management. It used to be a church. I find my peace when I enter houses of Allah, our Creator of everything , the Lord of Adam, Noah, Abraham, Jacob, Moses, Jesus, Muhammad peace be upon all of them. It’s a humble masjid, the way masjids should be. Friendly and great Muslim community here.
Really nice and big masjid. They have more space in the basement with several shoe-racks. Huge parking space also. Volunteers are stationed at several points to guide you in the proper direction. They are maintaining excellent Covid precautions.

Very welcoming and friendly; provided education about their faith and shared good food. They do recognize Moses and Jesus as prophets.
