Island Dental Center of Summerlin

If you have enemies, send them to Island Dental. They seem to have good reviews so I made an appointment for a cleaning and to bond a chipped upper central incisor, a procedure I've done a dozen times since it often re-chips. I made it very clear on the phone what I was coming in for, and they were very polite and said no problem. After filling out paperwork for 25 minutes, I sat in the chair and the dentist came in, and said we won't fix your chipped tooth because it's a veneer, something I had specifically mentioned when booking the appointment. I told him I don't care if it re-chips, I just need to look presentable for an upcoming event, and I've had it done many times before, but the dentist refused. He then had the audacity to say, "we can't help you but we won't charge you for today's visit". apparently they can't do a cleaning for someone with a chipped veneer either. On what planet does someone come in for a cleaning and bonding, gets neither, and the bill is even discussed? If you have time to spare and don't care about your teeth, Island dental is the place for you.

Very friendly office. Dentists are kind and knowledgeable. Don't try to gouge you like other dentist.

I was referred to Dr. Tomita from my Torrance, CA dentist. My first appointment was in October and now my second appointment was January. Dr. Tomita made me feel very welcome and confident. Both times, I got professional teeth cleaning. The office practices high level COVID safety procedures. Most of all the Staff is very friendly and professional. I am very happy with Dr. Tomita and the Island Dental staff.

I cannot say enough good things about this dental practice. There are so many less than ethical dentists that will tell you you need work that you don't. Everyone in the office is always so nice and friendly. Do yourself a favor and just switch now you won't regret it.

I found Island Dental from other reviews and checked to make sure my insurance MetLife covered it. I have some tooth pain and they offered to get me in on the same day! I was helped by Ashley and Dr. Askew and both were great. I appreciated that they verified my insurance and what my insurance will cover before moving forward with any services. I ended up being approved for X-rays and identified the cause of my pain. The faculty was clean, everyone was friendly, and they were informative about the process the whole time.

Excellent experience!! I came to Island Dental after a very bad experience with a prior dentist. I can't compliment them enough. The entire staff is highly professional, very friendly, courteous and highly recommended. The office is spotlessly clean and gorgeous. Unhappy with the appearance of my smile after 55 years, I went in for a cleaning and to discuss crowns or Veneers. They suggested that I start with tooth whitening and possibly replacing old stained fillings in front. The results are absolutely amazing. Thank you to the entire staff for making my visit an awesome experience.

Dr Askew is perfection! His staff very nice and professional.. Great experience. Dr Askew keeps a clean and relaxing office. My family has been patients of Island Dental for years and ALWAYS recommends our friends.
