Music is a life enhancing and creative art — interesting, nourishing, sociable and enjoyable. Our mission is to enrich lives through music and advance the quality and accessibility of music education and musical experiences for the community.
A small group of music teachers on Bainbridge Island founded the Island Music Teachers Guild in 1999. Dedicated to providing quality music instruction, the organization, now known as the Island Music Guild, (or as it's often lovingly called, "the Guild") has grown into a thriving community music resource with 240 students taking music lessons or attending classes and camps.
To enrich lives through music and to advance the quality and accessibility of music education and musical experiences in our community.
