I had the pleasure of being a guest at this wonderful Resort. I will be honest I was very worried based on some of the other reviews that were online. However, I am here to set the record straight. I loved everything thing about the resort and I can't wait to return again. I will make some suggestions. The cabins are small enough for 3 adults or two children and 2 adults. Make sure you all get along with each other and my last thing would bring some old-school games to have fun and bond with your family and friends. Rooms: Very clean. There a small T.V and I mean a small T.V. You get all of the normal things you get them if you stay at a hotel. Microwave, coffee pot, and refrigerator. Nearby activities: There fishing, pool, hiking, and a beach on the property. Walkability: You can walk if you desire to do that.
The cabin was too close to huge dumpster garabge which smelt awful. The hot water ran out quickly. The toilet stains were pretty gross. ,the TV didn't work at all You will need to bring a life jacket or pay 22 dollars,Cash only to go in tge lake. The pool was super cloudy. Overpriced for the experience. Grass area was full of stickers. My dog was full of them
We stayed here in June of 2023 for a week. It was a wonderful place to stay with a few exceptions... a major thing was that the bath houses are locked at 8:00 p.m. which was a bit worrisome if we had bad weather overnight, there would have been no shelter to go to. Also their restaurant was closed...not a deal breaker but would have been nice to have it. Laundry facilities were very nice and was close to Berlin which was handy. All in all, we enjoyed our stay but thought it could have been better managed. We would stay again if given the chance.
I would never stay here again, nor would I recommend it to anyone. The cabin was smaller than my bedroom at home, for 4 people. There was no place to put clothes, except for hanging in a small closet, but no hangers are provided. Literally, nothing is provided. No linens whatsoever and not even a pillow. They don't tell you on the website that you need to bring EVERYTHING! I guess I've been spoiled at Jellystone campgrounds in the past, but there is no room to move around in this cabin with a family of 4. There is a dorm sized refrigerator and a microwave, but no plates, utensils, nothing. What they also neglect to mention on the website is you need life jackets to swim in their lake. Of course, they sell them in the general store for twice the price they bought them for at the local Walmart But the most disturbing part of my experience was the customer service! The staff was SO rude, including the woman who told me she was the owner. I had called several months ahead of time to ask about having guests at the campground and was told it would be no problem, they would just have to pay $5 for the day. Well, when our guests arrived, they were all but accosted in the parking lot, before they could even get to the office to check in. There was also only about 5 minutes worth of hot water in the cabin, so I went to the bath house one evening to shower and got an ice cold shower there too! I went to the office to let them know and again got a rude response and never once an apology. Just a bad experience all around!
Third trip to this RV resort. Brought 2 friends with us who rented a cabin. Has multiple beds, a small kitchen area and a full bath. It's quiet and the pool is wonderful.Rooms: 1/5
We travel a lot, this is the nicest resort on the Eastern Shore that we’ve stayed at. The facilities are clean and easily accessible. The sites are extra large for people like us. We have a 34’ motor home and 24’ trailer, no problem getting in or out. The faculty is outstanding and very accommodating AND happy They also have a new country store that’s absolutely beautiful And the best part of our stay is the price
They had cabins to rent, even rv/campers to rent. First time hooking our camper/rv up & taking it out. Place was cool. If course we didn't get to much of it bc of having young children but, for sure will always keep this place in mind. Plus not far from my mom or alot of places
A nice campground kinda off the beaten path. Everything was great starting with Jess in the front office to checking out. Well equipped camp store that was fair priced. Clean bath houses Service: 5/5
We are trailer camping here. We are on the lake, which is great. They could update their restrooms and showers. This is a campground, not a hotel. It does have a few cabins.Rooms: 5/5
Great experience with bringing and renting rv trailer and renting a cabin. The hummingbirds are a magical bonus along with the sun going down :
