Islands Restaurant Long Beach Towne Center - Temporarily Closed

Islands is always good. Love love love their fries. They have all kinds of good burgers. Shakes are awesome. And such cool fun tropical decor.

Decided to try a new place this summer when we visited long beach and we were pretty pleased. Service was awesome and food was delicious.

The food was delicious. The service was great. It was a beautiful evening in the patio.

Love this place. The padio is cozy.. Food always taste great and service is on point. Crystal Robert and Britney always give me great service. Plus Jeff and Mikey are great bartenders...

Food is delicious, they have happy hour from 3 to 6:30 weekdays

as soon as you walk in the door the atmosphere was really pleasant in really nice and when you sit down at the table it was really nice. The waiters and waitresses are really nice people there. They greet their customers really well and they ask you what you want to drink right away. their menus are kind of I don't know kind of weird like there different kinds of fancy hamburgers which I'm not really used to and then once you order your hamburgers they bring you a big bowl of french fries to share and that's kind of like weird and everybody gets their own individual hamburgers which is of course you know what everybody wants is their own individual meal for everybody to share french fries it's kind of like do I really want to eat there again I don't think so it's not my not my cup of tea and so from myself. I won't be recommending it to anybody cuz I don't like sorry

You really can't go wrong with burgers and fries from Islands, right? We walked by the restaurant after a horrible experience at the neighboring theater. We had so many choices for dinner in the shopping center, but I needed a simple veggie burger and an ice tea. When we walked in the place was pretty empty. There were a few folks sitting in the bar area, but we weren't given direct instruction on where to sit. In fact, we were told that the restaurant had open seating and we were welcome to sit anywhere we wanted. Hearing this made me feel as though the bad experience at the theater was going to extend into dinner as well. I couldn't have been more wrong! We were immediately greeted by Mark, who would turn out to be the best part of our evening. He was quick to take our order but did not make us feel as though we were rushed so he could move on to other patrons. Our food came fast Longboard veggie for me and a regular one with bacon for my husband and he kindly checked on us every few minutes to make sure our experience and the food were great. His high level of quality customer service and authentic connection to our needs was what made the night redeeming. It was by far the best experience I've ever encountered at an Islands restaurant. Look for him the next time you go...he's a solid human!

Definitely recommend! Delicious wings and fish tacos, and we had the fries on the side which were really good. Server was Gloria and she was fantastic!! Super friendly and quick service. We’ll definitely return!

It was my first time there. My sister and I sat outside. There isn't anything I can complain about. The tacos I ate where a 10 so yummy and juicy! That my sister made Our hang placeOur server was awesome with a great personality, very attentive, very out going...his name was Aaron. I don't eat out much but the places I've have gone to eat the hospitality is horrible...

This location was great, close to the movie theatre. On Google Maps, it shows as Temporarily Closed, but an email I sent to their Corporate confirmed this location will not resume business. Bummer, was a great place/location.
