This was my first time ever in a casino & it was hands down a great experience. The hospitality from the wonderful staff, even the variety of food choices & cleanliness.... It was great all-around. 10 out of 10. & Would highly recommend to all my family & friends that enjoy the casinos. Will definitely be returning in the near future. Thank you Isleta for providing a safe, & comfortable environment. Keep up the good work.
Love the location and competitive prices. Cheaper and nicer than the Hilton. Suits. We will definitely stay here again. Mean girl vibe at check in. A bit ridiculous The steak house was very nice and incredibly friendly. Wish list: More Gluten Free options and Turkey burger.
The rooms were great. However, I was there for 6 days. There was only one choice for a restaurant. Chill, the ice cream shop closed early several days in a row. It was alarming that the website had different hours than actual hours of operation. The shuttle never came for transport to the train. Baggage crew was great and very helpful. I expect better at a resort of this size. I at least expect the website and signs to be updated according.
I haven't been here in probably 10 or 15 years. It's a lot calmer than 66 but just as busy. I don't usually gamble but I threw 20 bucks in I walked out with $380 so I have to say five stars for sure I do plan on going back. On the way there there's an amazing food place now so this will be a regular trip for me. I definitely recommend you give it a shot.
Where to start? Saturday night and you have a according to your staffsold out show with “Larry the Cable Guy” and a packed casino floor & NO VALET!!! My wife and I are both Disabled American Veterans who finally found a spot, but had to walk a very unacceptable long distance. The golf cart shuttle ran sporadically. Once inside the casino and after battling in order to get some food, we still had a too long of walk completely through the casino floor to get to the amphitheater for the show. The quality of the show was substandard at best. Larry at times forgetting his joke, slurring several times and cutting short his set list. His opening act was disgusting to say the least. I get that it was a “21 & Over” event, but this guy was way too vulgar. Difficult to fully hear the show, as several times, your security guards would congregate right behind where my wife and I were sitting. Nearly the entire show, there was at least two guards standing there talking loudly, sometimes another guard or two would join them and this obviously increased the volume of their conversations. The only positive thing was how quickly we were able to get out to to road, not because of anything anyone did, just me paying attention to the layout of the roads around the casino actually.
The hotel, pool and our stay in general was excellent. My only suggestion is that the pool towel system be a bit more lax. The number of towels is limited and you have to check them out. I have NEVER been to a hotel, especially one that holds itself in such high regard, where this has been such an issue. It kind of kills the overall relaxing vibe of the pool experience. Other than that, the stay was nice.
If you're planning to come here on a Sunday bring your own food. There's one small restaurant with one cashier working. the food is good and reasonably priced but I don't want to stand in line with 20 people just getting up in the morning because they don't have any place else to eat coming out of the hotel!!!!! I spent two weekends here I have yet to hear anybody winning ANYTHING on the floor, no bells alarms or other congratulatory sounds ! VERY tight machines!
Nice weekend getaway. Rooms were clean and spacious, and the bathroom had a jet tub. Variety of dining area and entertainment close by. The spa area could use some upgrades. Showers in the womens locker room were cold. The outdoor hot tub area was not winterized yet. All in all, it was a fun and relaxing weekend.Rooms: 5/5
Very nice hotel, food options are limited depending on day of week. I posted hours. Chicken tacos were satisfying after 11 hours on the road. Rooms are exceptional. Casino has rules, drinking only allowed in bar area, 3 beers an hour or 1 beer and 1 shot I overheard them saying. There is truck parking on the south end signs clearly point out truck entrance. I will be back, hopefully when panda or steak house is open. Nearby activities: Did not see much in walking distance, so limited to offerings available on the night you stay.
Stayed for one night, about 15 hours, stopping in Albuquerque while moving across the country. Stopped here one year ago while moving as well and decided to return since I had a good experience last year. This time was a bit different, my room was definitely not four star quality. However, most importantly, my room was clean and my vehicle was safe and secure overnight. My room had A LOT of cosmetic damages, which was weird, but I know this was a busy weekend in the city so maybe this was one of the last rooms which I can understand. What did affect my stay, is the shower would keep spraying even when the knob was pushed in to draw a bath so I wasn’t able to relax quite how I wanted to. Also the smell coming from outside, I’m assuming exhaust from the restaurants, was really strong and not pleasant. Overall, definitely not a four star hotel worth $300/night.
