Love the whole experience. You have a shower and the pod in the room. At first it’s a bit unsettling being in there but after a while, you just succumb to it and 60 mins goes by too fast. Hair tip: My hair was in rough shape after the salt water so I do recommend covering your hair up. I tried using coconut oil to protect it but my ends were still super damaged. I would recommend OLAPLEX 4c clarifying shampoo and a deep conditioning mask. I was good after that!
This Spa definitely exceeded all of my already very high expectations! Courteous, friendly & professional customer service over the phone & in person. Pristine & Zen environment & experience from the minute you walk in. There are 3 Parking spaces available dedicated to the Spa & also easily accessible additional street parking on McLeod Street as well. The Float itself was incredible - so SO very relaxing & you are provided with everything you will need - towels, earplugs, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, Kleenex, qtips, body lotion, blow dryers…EVERYTHING! Just bring your own washcloth/loofah/bath sponge & hair brush and any other personal grooming supplies. You take a quick shower before the float & afterwards & like I mentioned earlier, everything is provided for you! Now for the main event - I have been wanting to do this for decades & am so very grateful that we have this facility in Ottawa. Aside from the feeling of complete weightlessness & relaxing there is a very meditative feeling which leads to the ultimate in relaxation. How many of us ever get to experience this in our busy, noisy modern day lives where every second is filled it seems? But aside from the relaxation angle of the experience, for me the most important aspect was that the eczema on my hands that I have had for the greater part of this year has completely cleared up after ONE float! I know salt has some healing properties but this float has done what multiple prescription cortisone creams haven’t been able to do for years. I am completely blown away. If you do have any skin issues, I highly recommend the ISO Floatation Spa my hands did tingle a bit when I first got in but I got used to the feeling in no time. Also, if you are claustrophobic please note that the pod does not need to be closed at all. It can be left completely or partially open & there is a serene blue light in there…As for the pricing, it is incredibly reasonably priced! They have different packages available that are quite affordable. I have already booked my next float! Thank YOU Mika & Jasson for creating ISO Floatation Spa for us! Ottawa don’t miss out on this incredible experience!
If you're okay with being alone with your heartbeat and your thoughts, this is a relaxing, surreal sort of experience. I loved the weightless feeling and absolutely lost track of time. I might have even fallen asleep. I would definitely go back. I booked on the spur of the moment, and everything you need is there, from towels, shampoo and ear plugs. Give it a try!
I went to the ISO Spa earlier this evening and Dave offered a warm welcome as it was our first time. Going in with no expectations, I was pleasantly surprised by how therapeutic it was. The isolation tanks really make you feel like you’re floating in a world of nothing - clear thoughts, silence, and peaceful. If you’re looking to escape reality for an hour and feel at peace, this is the place to go. I’m usually around loud kids and in stressful environments. Parents should definitely go here for a date night. I can’t compliment the service, staff, or experience enough. I will definitely be going again.
This wasn't my first float but was my first time at this location. The facilities are beautiful and clean. Customer service was great! The only thing that could be improved is the water pressure in the shower, but that's probably not up to them. I definitely recommend this place if you're looking to relax and unwind.
Very cool place. Very clean and well taken care of. You will float in a bath filled with the Epsom salt solution. The bath has a lead that you are supposed to close on yourselves, but you don’t have to. The water temperature is set to match body temperature, different for men and women. Some people relax and calm down. Others get stimulated and awaken. You may feel a little taller after the bath.
came here today for the first time, my boyfriend and i unfortunately could only book separate time slots online due to availability but whenever we arrived the gentleman said that there was two rooms available so we could go at the same time which was nice. the gentleman working has the best customer service ever. made us feel super duper comfortable, explained everything very thoroughly and asked if we had questions etc. called us by our first names which felt very personal which is nice, it’s not like you’re just a customer here they really value the experience they’re giving you. and the floating was soooo relaxing would definitely recommend!!
Hands down one of the best spots to visit in Ottawa for sure. Mika and John are amazing, tanks are top notch, service is outstanding. I am a member and for that I get some good pricing on my floats. Do yourself a favor and treat yourself with this experience
Had an incredible first time experience at ISO Spa. Was greeted very kindly and calmly in a beautiful and clean environment. I left feeling more relaxed than ever in my life, will definitely be back. Highly recommend!
Went there today for the first time and it was a great experience. The place is nice and Clean. The customer service is top. Truly recommend this place for a good Zone out. ISO SPA. I WILL SEE YOU AGAIN! Soon!
