Itasca Park District

There's absolutely nothing I can say that is bad about this place. If I could I would let me tell you... I usually don't offer reviews on places like this but I can't say anything bad. The place is clean and well maintained and all the people that work here are friendly and respectful. The patrons that use this facility are as respectful as the staff. There's a large gym a weight room and walking track. There's 2 spotlessly clean locker rooms and bathrooms. You could eat off the floor in the entire facility and not have a problem with it. Anywhere you look the place has been cleaned and disinfected. The sun rises and falls around this place. There's something magical and exciting here. Anyway this is the part of the review where I add a bunch of words to get bonus. I hope that you read this and enjoyed reading. If you are so inclined to like this I would appreciate it. The carnival by Fantasy, Inc was fun and well maintained.

My son who is 9 got his 1st COVID Vaccine. Directions & location was simple. The staff & volunteers made the environment comforting, entertaining, & very child friendly. Both Itasca & Jewel were friendly, professional, clean, & quick with services. They even prepared the kids for rewards after having their shots. They even handled the children who were very nervous, very well

Great staff. Good variety of programs for kids. Early Childhood Education programs are also great.

I was there for the Oktoberfest. The food was good. There were several German beers but no true German wines. A dance floor would have been a great addition. It's not easy to dance in an uneven grassy surface.

I returned to attend Zumba classes. The ladies at the front desk were very helpful. The instructor was very patient and helpful with learning the dance steps!!!

Got my 1st. Pfizer shot there today. I must say I was impressed. I was in and out so quickly. The vaccine operation has clearly been well planned and executed. I was lucky to get a call to come in and get vaccinated there. Now I have to go back in 3 weeks for the 2nd shot which I'm sure will be just as simple as the first.

Was here for an outside event. Their Octoberfest was well done and folks were having a good time. People working the booths engaged and very friendly. Good job by the sponsors.

I was lucky enough to receive a COVID vaccination at the vaccination event held at the park district. It was an amazing setup. Everything was laid out well, distanced, and well-staffed. Things moved swiftly and efficiently. What a wonderful collaborative effort.
