I went in for poor mental health. I was feeling very negative in general, and when I tell you these nurses were excellent, I mean EXCELLENT. The fact that within just short of 12 hours of being there voluntarily, my needs for standard human interaction were beyond met, as well as my social batteries charged. They accommodated my every need within minutes. I have never received care at a hospital like I have here. A super, very special shout out to Dylan, Suzanne, Brenda, and Danielle for their kindness, intelligence, and hospitality. You guys have given me the confidence and motivation I needed to get back on my feet and continue living the life that I deserve to live. I really hope everyone can experience your guys care like I did, because it was groundbreaking and life changing. Thank you so much for all that you guys do.
I went with my friend's wife to have an echocardio done and chatted with the receptionist while waiting. Then I went to the parking lot to find my friend gone. I told the receptionist that she saw us come together, why didn't she alert me about my friend leaving so she called the security cop over and he tried to get me a ride and couldn't. But he ended up being my neighbor growing up..thanks for lookin out Officer Kevin Brown!
I came here for my treatment and have to stay for 6 weeks. I couldn't be happier with the care I'm receiving. The staff are amazing, kind, generous, and have made sure that my stay here is as comfortable as possible. The nurses, techs, doctors, food service, social services, chaplains, housekeeping, and receptionists are some of the best people I have ever met. I am blessed to be in the presence of so many wonderful people. Thank you for doing all that you do and I am beyond grateful to have had the opportunity to meet all of you.
You should be able to talk to your doctor about multiple things but instead they only have time to talk about one thing and thats the thing ya called to make the appointment for! I'm finding a new doctor!
everyone was really nice and i didn't have a terribly long wait in the er. once i got back there the nurses were quick and did everything i needed. Brenda was amazing, she's really nice and i wish there were more like her.
I am a stage 4 cancer patient and this place will let you go hours after pain meds are due before they give you something. Mine was scheduled every 4 hours and I was getting them 6/7 hours later. Laying here in severe pain and crying and they didn't bat an eye!!
So today I called the hospital asking about if this hospital has any pvd specialist just bc I’m trying to establish care and want to know what this hospital offers as in patient care. I stutter a bit due to an accident. The operator was rude as hell and refused to answer any questions I had not to mention had zero patience while I was speaking. Actually raised her voice then hung up on me. Not looking forward to having to go to this hospital.
Dr Borgenheimer is the absolute best. Spends time with her patients and talks with them. Great at explaining everything that's going on with your health and/or any questions you have.
Took my mother to IU Blackford ER today, Feb 1st. They were all so kind and gracious and helpful. Nurses Heather and Pat as well as Dr Sharpe get a10 plus stars from me! End result we had to be transferred to Muncie, I might say they have big shoes to fill! IU Blackford ER!
Not allowing at least 1 caregiver that is a family member in with the patient is absolutely ridiculous! Especially when that patient needs bloodwork chest xrays and ultrasounds done and is refusing to do it without their family member/ caregiver. And then to have that caregiver escorted out by an officer when there was no kind of hostility. Please if any of your human resources or administration actually read this get back with me.
