My first and foremost goal is to glorify God in all that I do. The J stands for Jesus because he is #1! Refinish furniture, candles, cedar decor and more!
Jesus is the center of my life, my family, and my business. The J in J&A stands for Jesus because he comes first in everything I do. I take pride in my work because as Colossians 3:23 tell us, we should work in all we do as if we are working for The Lord himself. I will not put my company, or personal name on anything I am not proud of. I will not sell anything I am not proud of. I take pride in my workmanship and spend how much ever time it takes to make whatever I am working on live up to my high standards.
The joy I get when someone compliments my work, makes it all worth it. Selling a one of a kind piece of furniture I put my blood (I am pretty clumsy), sweat and tears into and my customer loving it is an amazing feeling.
I give all the glory to God because he blessed me with these talents, he provided me with the tools I need to work with. Every good and perfect gift is from above, from our Lord and Savior who loves us despite our flaws. I pray everyday that God brings the right people to my page, people who will find joy in my work. Maybe someone who just needs to see how God has worked in my life so that they may ask him to work in theirs. My life isn't perfect, far from it. It is a constant struggle to pay my bills every month but God always provides. I just have to have faith and believe that he will take care of my family and I. I also, of course, pray that my work reaches people who want to buy my furniture and other products because this is my business and my livelihood.
A little about me, I am a single mother of two beautiful boys who are 5 and 3. My goals in life are to firstly be the best Christian woman I can be, secondly give my boys an amazingly happy life full of love, and thirdly to build my business to be financially stable and an independent single mother.
