J. Alexander Fine Jewelers has opened it's doors at 1935 Union Valley Rd. in Hewitt, NJ 07421(Across from A&P Plaza). Alexis Randolph and John Pytleski a sister and brother team have been in the industry for a combined 35 years. Alexis started in the industry at 18 years old. She has managed private jewelry stores for more than half of her career. She is alumni of G.I.A. the Gemological Institute of America and is pursuing her Graduate Gemologist Degree. John has managed corporate Jewelry stores during his career in the industry. Alexis and John worked for a watch manufacturing company in Poughkeepsie, N.Y. where they mastered repairing late model watches. John also apprentices with a master watchmaker in New York City's Diamond District where he is learning the art of repairing antique watches. Alexis and John are not new to starting a business.
5 years ago they helped open their oldest sisters jewelry store in Wantage, N.J. D'Andrea's Jewelers. Andrea Randolph, owner of D'Andrea's, is a Graduate Gemologist of G.I.A. and a Bench Jeweler. Andrea does all of the repairs and appraisals for J. Alexander Fine Jewelers. All three siblings are versed in custom design, whether it be a family heirloom you want re-mastered to be more modern, or a custom engagement ring and wedding band.
