Great service and they perform miracle repairs! Location is in the SE metro area but have a few hardware stores in other locations that send windows to them. Call for locations if Grandview is too far for you. I will definitely be returning with my business. Located behind the building in the photo. Non-cash based.
I think these guys are the only place in town with a decent screen parts selection.
I have used J and J in the past... About 6 years ago to be accurate. I called to ask them about having someone do a house call to measure and build the screens I need as all of my windows are a hodge podge of different screen types. I was toni needed to email their installer. So I decided to stop by their shop after work one day I stead and talk to someone there about my screen needs. Them man there was very nice and I left my old invoice and contact info for them to have someone call me about the service... And so far no one has. So, for now, I'm giving them 3 stars. I will update this one way or the other soon....
Hard to find my first time there but got it figured out. Basically a mom & pop screen and storm window repair shop. Nice folks but what had repaired seemed a bit pricey to me. But I don't have the tools, the part or the expertise to DIY. So...
I am writing more than a year after J&J installed my screens. I felt the need to let others know that the service is excellent. A person came and talked with me, measured and then they go back and in a day or two, have a quote. It is not inexpensive, but not out of line either. It is, in my opinion, well worth every cent paid. I agreed and they got the job done. I highly recommend them. I would use them again and if anyone asks if I know of a good screening company, this is it.
The best place in the Kansas City area for screen door or window replacement. They made a custom sliding screen door for me in a couple of days at a very reasonable price, something I couldn’t order or find at any of the local hardware or ‘big’ home improvement store.
Took in the sliding glass portion of my 2 foot by 4 foot custom storm window glass. Paid $38. They replaced the glass and put it back in the frame for that price. Very reasonable price and great service.

These guys helped me out so much when the screen lid of my snake cage ripped. I was having a semi-emergency because my snake kept escaping and when I called J&J about my problem they told me to come in to see if they could fix the lid. I did, and after looking over the screen they told me they could fix it in a few minutes! The wait was extremely short and the service was very friendly. They did an excellent job and I would recommend them to anyone needing screen repair service done.
