Lenny and Jo Anne went above and beyond to ensure I picked the perfect Diamond and setting, and the end result was perfect! The ring is gorgeous and she absolutely loves it. Two years ago we decided to reset my engagement ring diamond into an anniversary ring. I brought a photo of what I wanted, and the ring was made to order. Matched my diamond with 4 additional diamonds flanking it perfectly. My vision for the ring was realized with great detail, patience, and friendliness. This store is a gem and I trust them completely.
J. Thomas Jewelers is a great small town business. I moved away from NJ 5 yrs ago..back in town for extended visit. I had used JTJ when I lived here so I brought rings from Mom with me to be polished and one needed sizing. The personal customer service is still GREAT!!.. THANK YOU for making me feel welcome and comfortable leaving rings from my Mother in your possession.
I highly recommend J Thomas Jewelers!! The staff is extremely friendly and is very knowledgeable in regards to fine jewelry. Lenny went out of his way to help me pick out the perfect necklace for my girlfriend's birthday. Their pricing is extremely fair and reasonable! Their collection of jewelry is second to none as fine, beautiful, exquisite and elegant!!
Lenny, the owner, was very personable, kind, professional and made you feel at ease. He offered many options and explained each one. Joanne was also very helpful and assisted with my ring selection. I will definitely make J. Thomas my one stop shop for all future jewelry purchases.

I rarely write reviews but J Thomas Jewelers certainly deserves one. The quality of this store starts with the employees, the owner, and continues with the variety of jewelry selection and prices. I've lived in Sparta NJ for 3 yrs and that was the perfect store to visit year around. Since I moved out of State 2 yrs ago, my husband and I decided to drive once more to visit the store before the holidays. The 4 hrs drive were definitely worth the drive. It was nice to see the friendly staff and owner. They are all so nice that you want to be their friend : I'm very happy with my purchase as well as my daughters who got something for themselves as well.
Lenny and his staff at J Thomas Jewelers are the best! We have been dealing with Lenny since he first opened. He is the real deal and very kind as well! He really gets you exactly what you are looking for with the help of his fantastic staff!!
Nice store. Nice jewelry. Staff was courteous. I didn’t give them five stars because at that time I was simply looking and actually would have probably come back to buy because I am into supporting local business. But after giving the price and then giving another price...saying it’s good right now or we wouldn’t give you that price again made me go to their competition. Maybe their sales staff was told to sell but when someone’s looking at something what they feel is expensive sometimes we need time to decide. Give us your best price to start and if we are interested we will buy. I would give them a chance again but I ended up forming a nice relationship with their competitors in town and wouldn’t return. But in all fairness the shop had a nice selection so perhaps the price thing was just a poorly made decision by the salesperson I was dealing with.
