Everything I get here tastes really good except for the smoked sausage. This used to be my favorite biscug but I've gotten it twice over the past 3 months and both times the smoked sausage is grey and old and looks like it was cooked a week ago. Disappointing that they would serve this. It tastes even worse than it looks. The lines are usually too busy in the morning to visit. So I go whenever the lines are reasonable. While overall they are good, serving something like this on a consistent basis lowers their score. They should just remove it from the menu. 6.4 / 10 Parking: Parking on both sides of the store.
I can't review the food. We didn't get any. We waited in line in the drive through about 15 minutes. We got to the speaker and then realized why the line of cars in front of us left. We literally went from the road to the speaker and when we got to the speaker, there was one car in front of us. It was 10:15. After she told is to wait to order and then was ready, my husband went to order and ordered a number 4. The woman told him to stop ordering and started huffing and puffing because he ordered a lunch item. He then started ordering again when she said she was ready. She the attitude of any worker or maybe human, I've ever come across and that includes 4 years of retail and 9 years of insurance. We ended up leaving instead of going to the window because she was so rude. We then understood why all the other cars left too. If management doesn't get rid of her, they won't have a restaurant any more.
The manager at Jacks is absolutely horrible to her staff and customers. My boyfriend and I came in to eat around 6:45pm and she practically yelled “this is why we need to lock the dang doors. We’re not going to get anything done.” She did that every single time a customer walked in and continuously verbally abused her workers. A little boy probably 13 came in to order and she rolled her eyes and him and was groaning and sighing while she took his order and cut him off while he was ordering. Didn’t stay over there to finish the transaction, one of her poor employees had to come over and hand him the receipt. The two girls working under her were awesome and had great attitudes. I truly feel bad for them that they have to work with this monster of a manager. She needs to find another profession because abusing your workers and customers was not in the job description. Mind you, it wasn’t even the slightest bit busy. No line at all outside or inside. Absolutely ridiculous.
I’ve came to this jacks a couple of times and haven’t had any problems but I came last night and the lady who took my order was SO rude. First off, I sat at the speaker for a few minutes before anyone even said anything. And then she said “ORDER” and I asked for 4 ranches with my meals, 2 for 1 and 2 for the other and she rudely said “if we have 4 ranches, we’ll give them to you” so i pulled around and got my food and checked the bag later and not only did I not get 4 ranches, I didn’t even get one. They gave me 1 honey mustard for a 4 piece combo and another combo order. I won’t be back.
My second posting about this location. I gave this place a second chance after my last post and had great service there. Tonight was a different story and the final nail in the coffin. So, I parked on the drive through window side of the building. There was about 4 or 5 cars in the drive through line. Nobody inside so I walked to the door, it was locked. I checked my watch and it wasn't even 8pm yet. So I walked around to the other side. I walked in, normally greeted by the person up front. The lady standing there, with a drive thru headset on filling an order, looked right at me and didn't say a word. I stood there and patiently waited, because she was busy and I understood that. But, when she moved from the side of the counter to the front, putting her back towards me, I walked out.
Truly don’t know how this location has more than 2 stars. There is ALWAYS something missing from your order whether it be sauces or an entire fried apple pie like this time. The employees are not kind and have terrible attitudes. I could only order one thing before they immediately told me to pull to the window although I had more to order and the same thing was done to the car behind me. I hadn’t been here in months and hoped that the service had somewhat improved at this point. Seems to me it’s only gotten worse. Definitely sealed the deal in not getting my business any longer.
Delicious and friendly. There’s a Jack’s half a mile from my house but every Saturday morning my husband and I drive 30 minutes to this one to get steak biscuits. The food is so much better here than the other ones. Wish I could get this by my house every morning.
Average fast food served by people who truly don’t care. If your order has more than 2-3 items, there’s a very good chance it will be wrong. Your order will then grow cold on the counter as the staff unravels their mistake. No apologies with be issued and no urgency at resolving the problem.
Tried this place twice in a week because the first experience was dismal. The first experience we got about half the food we ordered. The rest of the order was sort of right. The second trip around was worse. We sat at the drive thru for about 5 minutes before anyone greeted us. My son wanted a chicken finger meal. The person behind the mic told us they were out of chicken fingers. We ordered a chicken sandwich for each person in the car. With just three cars in the drive thru, we waited like what seemed like the expanse of time to grow a beard long enough to step on. We got our chicken sandwiches. We were missing my son's order of fries. I parked the car to go get the missing fries... Making sure not to step on the beard I'd just grown. As I approached the counter, I saw them pouring up chicken fingers. They were not out after all. I waited another five minutes now not exaggerating before the woman behind the counter asked if she could help me. I explained the fries had been left out. I didn't bother asking why were we told they were out of chicken fingers and just returned to my car. As we drove home and discussed the hilariously bad service, I noticed the chicken sandwich I was eating didn't feel quite right. Sorta spongy and cold. Y'all, it wasn't fully cooked. The rest of the family checked theirs. Same thing, mostly cooked but there was a spot in the middle that just wasn't cooked. This was the first Jack's in existence, I'm told. I would have thought they were the flagship store. Sadly, no. I will not be going back, back, back to that Jacks if it kills me... because it just might.
I haven't had Jack's breakfast in over 10 years! My bad! I forgot what I been missing! Deluxe breakfast with single biscuit and gravy was just great for this crispy cold morning. The cashier was just as great with her kind self and energy.
