Our mission is to provide the highest quality of service for our families in their greatest time of need with the utmost dignity and compassion. We consider it an honor and a privilege to serve your family.
By 1915 Harold Jackman and Albert Penny were providing funeral services in Harrison, Ohio. In 1935 it was named the Jackman-Bullock Funeral Home when Eugene Jackman and Edwin Bullock became proprietors. In 1948 Mr. Bullock left to pursue other interests. Mr. Jackman is later joined by Ronald and Judy Kercheval in 1965. The brothers Rodger and Vernon Meyers began working with Mr. Kercheval in 1992 and upon Kercheval's retirement in 1997, the name changed to Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home.
In September of 1999, Chris Hensley, a fourth generation funeral director began working with Jackman Kercheval Meyers funeral home. As of July 2017, Chris along with his wife Carol, became the owners and operators of the business, newly naming it Jackman Hensley funeral home.
The funeral home has provided the families of Harrison and surrounding areas with comfort in their time of need for over a century. The building itself at 215 Broadway street has grown and changed with the years too, but one thing remains the same... it is still a respected locally family owned funeral home full of Harrison history and pride.
