Joe has been doing my taxes for as long as I can remember.  He is always so nice and caring. This year my return was not what I usually get, but his demeanor and kindness,  lessened the blow with ease. He is by far the nicest and the most caring person I have had the pleasure to meet and work with. Joe always goes that extra mile by asking how I am doing, and always makes it a point to mention my deceased son, with some memory - especially Joe's collection of his signed Ravens jerseys.  My son Noah, would always ask every year to see them. Joe went out of his way every year, to show them to my son. That is something that I will always cherish- it warms my heart... every year! Thank you Joe Mitzel! You are a Rock Star!!

I changed to Jackson Hewitt years ago. Joe has been doing my taxes for at least 20 years now and he is the best.

I would give Jackson Hewitt 5 stars or more but the Bel Air office is not handicap accessible. Since the building was built in the ‘50’s It doesn’t have to comply with the ADA compliance laws. There are only 3 steps to get onto the porch and a minor step to get into the building. The great news about the new location is the preparers are individual offices. If your preparer is on the upper level too many steps to count to get there and you are handicapped, they do have rooms available on the main level. I have “NEVER” been disappointed with my returns over the past 15 years, and have used the same preparer each year. The IRS questioned on year, and Jackson Hewitt took care of it it was an error on a bank dividend the bank neglected to notify the IRS of but my return reported it. I talked to the preparer before retiring to get the tax ramifications. They helped me prepare and know what I needed to have prior to retiring and what I could anticipate the taxes I would be paying. As I said, I would give 5 stars or more, except of the handicap access.

I used to have my taxes done by Jackson Hewitt every year. Honestly I came back because I thought I could get the rapid refund, because I really need the money!! However, they don't do that anymore. I got something better! Even though I have to wait 5 days to get some of it, my tax preparer only charged me the cost of one years' tax fee!!! I was really sick last year at tax time, and never filed them. This was a personal sacrifice on his part. That comes out of his pocket!! I highly recommend every one to go with them!! Can't go wrong!!!

I've been having my taxes done with Jackson Hewitt for years and they always work hard to get the most money owed to me back. They take their time with me and are very knowledgeable and current with ever changing tax laws. I'll see them next year!!

Joe Mitzel at the Festival Bel Air location goes above and beyond to assist any issues that arise for his customer regardless of their income level. Everyone at this location is so welcoming and I couldnt be happier with my experience here. Joe has been doing my moms taxes for 15 plus years and now i know why! Five star rating!

I would have left five stars four because the agent that helped me was very nice if they're called agents she answered all the questions I had and if she didn't know she was willing to take time to look up an answer they were polite and were kind enough to explain what were simple things the only thing I didn't like is the location wasn't clearly marked besides a billboard next to the building

Ive been dealing with jackson-hewitt for 7 years now...I was always happy with the service and staff,,but i think next tax year i will go with someone else,only because of the high price they charge to do a basic tax return
