So the service itself was great, but I will warn you that it was outrageously priced. Our CPA retired, new CPA wanted $300 and for 2 W2s, a mortgage statement and a 1099 with only mileage no other deductions. We went to Jackson Hewitt after I called and thought the pricing would be 99-150. I get there and was told no, it will be somewhere between 300-400, but they have a 50% off coupon. Whatever at this point. We get our taxes done, we were charged $499 + some in fees and they were taking $200 off. Our final bill was almost $400. I brought up that it wasn’t even half off a very outrageous price and the lady said that’s what the system offered. The manager came over it and fixed it and got it down to $306. That’s more than we paid a private CPA and when we were paying that we had a house we were renting out which made our taxes more complicated. Needless to say, we won’t be using Jackson Hewitt next year which is a shame because the lady who helped us was so nice

Filing 2022 was my second year with Joann. I'll definitely be back next year and so on. She was patient, professional, and acknowledgable. She should me so pointers to make filing a 1099 schedule C a little smoother. Thanks again Joann!
