My experience is very good. I feel very blessed to work in this place. When I read some comments I feel sad because is not the reality. Some cases are so difficult that become very hard to deal with them. My experience is I have beautiful experience with many residents they keep calling and coming here to appreciate our excellent work with them . I’m short in words because I have much more to say.
some employees are good and some bad .I had some experience since i was here this place needs a lot of cleansing with the blood of Jesus Christ and lots of prayers.and being treated inhuman cos of my disability by some employees working here.i forgive those who do that kind of thing to me not me other patients.I can only pray to god open their heart and eyes and let them do right thing.I don’t want to say beyond hear .and only I say is in bible is do to others as they want them to do unto u .and be kind to others god is love love ur neighbor as ur self .amen.
My nephew was transferred to Perdue for rehab. Some nurses are nice, the PT therapists excellent. Most ancillary support very rude to patients and relatives. This is a nursing home, most patients do not receive any visitors unfortunately. But those who goes for rehab ARE NOT nursisng home semi abandoned patients. They treat the visitors of those patients like dirt, at times I thought the employees want to live us alone for them to do what they want. My nephew is an orphan of father, only son of his ingle mom. She lives for him and her only joy is to go to see him after work. We live one hour from the place, when she gets there she is asked to wait in a patio to fill forms that take a good 5 to 7 minutes for a 20 minute visit. The place is empty, no visitors for the elderly resident however they deny 5 extra minutes to the relatives who care. The tip of the iceberg was Mother’s Day, my nephew was allowed only 20 minutes to see his mother, no exception for thi one a year important day for mother’s. She was crying and the answer was “ now you are having an attitude, I may deny you the visit all together” No compassion , I’m not mentioning names to avoid them to lose their jobs but I ask the administration to keep an eye in the way they treat good families who care about their patients and they time from their busy schedules ti visit them. It gives a moral boost to the patients to know they are loved, that makes them heal faster.
This place is honestly as the worst nurses I've ever seen in my life iwas visiting my uncle when another patient fell I ran to get help and the nurse was literally walking to the room didnt even care that the guy was on the floor after they told him someone will check his leg yeah right no body came and checked the poor men . My uncle has been there only 2 week and the nurses dont care to change him leave him in the room for hours this place needs to be shut down
First this is not a hospital they don't have emergency room. Is a great place my mom was there for almost 3 years and the staff was always so nice and helpful. The only thing like everything the family need to be in top and please don't forget your relatives when you leave them there. They do meeting every 3 months with the patients and the family and they are excellent!!!!!!!!
I was hit by a car while riding bike and sustained a spinal cord injury. I had to stay at Perdue for a while. Nikki the occupational therapist and Thais the physical therapist were absolute angels! I had a rough stay, had issues with some of the staff and the way they treat people, but Nikki and Thais always worked me hard and always put a smile on my face.
this hospital is trash!!!! went to the emergency room and they had me waiting for 3 hours and then when they finally called me in, the nurse left me waiting for one more hour when my pain level was a 10 out of 10 so i grabbed my stuff and left.. im am NEVER ever going back there, don't recommend it to anyone....
Probably the best thing that happens to my Mom lately was to be in this facility... Lovely and professional team very dedicated to each and every resident...
Worst hospital I ever been to I had a ultrasound done to check on my baby and the women nurses were on their phone during my ultrasound the staff in the front are so rude and have a bad attitude I would never go back there again
I had the pleasure of having my mom under the care of Juanita Gonzalez in the south wing for 4 years she honestly makes this place for me she is a god sent!
