The young lady working at the front desk here was so helpful! I haven't mailed anything in close to a decade. I do everything by computer. So when I needed to mail a certified letter, I, sadly was completely lost and confused. Instead of getting frustrated or an attitude with my ignorance to the situation, she repeated the instructions several times of what I should be doing and just did it when I still didn't understand lol. The only downside was they didn't have any envelopes in stock on the day I went, so I had to buy a padded package. However, for the patience she had with me, it was worth it! I should've gotten her name but great job!
I previously wrote a review discrediting the hard work of the delivery workers and I apologize. They never stole anything, but some other people do steal. My packages are arriving in good time recently, I just have to stay on top of getting them from my doorstep!
BE WARNED The postal delivery crew associated with this branch is notorious for falsifying the status of their deliveries. Whether that is to avoid doing their job or to sell/ steal products is to be determined but my entire building is aware of the issue.
I haven’t received mail in over a month i went here the carrier told them she couldn’t get into the building 2 weeks later I still have yet to receive mail so I went back now the carrier didn’t need keys she needs for the buzzer to be fixed so she can use her arrow key and not have to walk around with the other keys so since the property manager isn’t getting the buzzer fixed she’s illegally withholding the entire building mail in retaliation against the property manager and the supervisor had the nerve to agree to this nonsense as long as she has TWO SETS OF KEYS TO ENTIRE THE BUILDING it should be no reason we haven’t received mail in almost 2 months it’s a federal offense to withhold first class mail I’ve been reporting this post office this whole week then had the nerve to tell me I couldn’t get my mail over the counter it has to be placed inside the mailbox but this carrier is illegally withholding our mail I can’t change my address I can’t put my kids in school I can’t pay my bills this is insane
Came here during lunch time, was worried they'll be on break. We were assisted immediately, and the process was smooth when we tried to mail something.
I’ll keep it short and brief. When you ask employees to take accountability, they will threaten to call the police on you. What was the crime? Them being annoyed. Don’t believe me? Ask Regina Parker, employee of this post office. She did this exact thing to me.
If you live here, you better change your shipment service to DHL or UPS. I have too many missing package issues and unhelpful service here.
Can't never get what I need done there! How do the post office not have stamps
My delivery hasn't come yet and it's been 3 days already.. I'm not understanding why my stuff have yet to be delivered.
How is it? I have a PO Box there and still have not received my packages...AMAZING!! then call the 800 number and get the run around... They know exactly what their doing and could care less. Thanks for sticking it to me! UPDATE 9/6/23 So I had TWO packages delivered by UPS on 9/1/23, signed for by a postal employee working the dock, so you figure I would get both my packages correct? Nope!! Once again, the "good folks" at the MOST RATCHET POSTAL FACILITY known to mankind apparently played God or decided they would look better in my items than me!! Then I get all this nonsense from callbacks saying everything except what it was!! Someone went shopping!! Amazing how they can stack their check and just TAKE from folks who conduct business there!! It's POINTLESS to call the 800 number or get a serious follow-up as all POSTAL EMPLOYEES just lie and blame it on someone or something else. I've never seen a place where they come to WORK, not to WORK!! RATCHET like you've never believed. There is no point in attempting to contact the "District Manager" for Chicago 1 region, it's all A JOKE!!
