Jacksonville Commons park

Has a great selection of Park area with different age ranges I have between two and four parks connected to the recreational center they have two baseball fields two or three volleyball nets,tennis courts ,walking trails and great parking lots and lots of parking. They is a hole near a volleyball net supper dangerous

My kid utilized this facility as part of the Jacksonville Youth sports program’s basketball league. Great facility, very organized, clean. The referees were good to go. Concessions were cheap, always well stocked and the staff of the facility were very friendly and professional. A great facility for the residents of Jacksonville.

Great place to take the kids. Outdoor pavilions with grills. Playground equipment. Baseball field. Basketball court. Volleyball pit. Lots of parking.

Need to learn to post more online and on Facebook about there activities they offer for adults and kids. Not pushing there activities for the public to know what they have coming up.

Great place to walk around feed the animals and enjoy the view. Theres plenty of biking trails, scenic photo spots, playgrounds, and shaded picnic areas. Well kept and family friendly events often

Great park and playground area. Definitely needed for this area. Has baseball fields, basketball courts, playgrounds, and an couple open fields the kids can run and play in. Also has a skate park for kids to enjoy.

The complex building closes around 8 pm, but the entire area has sidewalks and paved biking/jogging trails that go throughout the area, and the majority of this area is fairly well lit by streetlights. It was very easy to park in the lot and start walking, stopping at nearly 3.75 miles with plenty of options had we wanted to continue walking. There are schools nearby, sidewalks and trails connecting them to the general recreation area. Across the parking lot from the building and across the local access road is a large created pond with at least one bench alongside. In warmer weather, geese are often roaming the grounds, too. For sporting types, there are basketball courts and baseball fields, among other things, with bleachers and other seating nearby. If you are into Pokemon Go, I'm told there are some things to do in this area I don't play, myself. This is a popular location for waking, hosting community events and racing, and after-school programs. It's situated away from the main, noisy road, so it's fairly quiet and a nice place to walk with friends in the evenings.

They have an amazing Egg hunt and games for the children at Easter time. My kids had a blast.

Good area for an outdoor party, however on Saturday all the bathrooms are closed. Had to drive to Publix or many guests with small children had to leave early because there was nowhere to go.

Love this place. I love the peacefulness and the fact that there are benches placed around the path for people to rest and kids park is awesome.
