Jacksonville Fire Department
The Jacksonville Fire Department Central Station is located at 900 N. Redmond Road, just across the street from the Pathfinders Complex. The Department has an authorized personnel compliment of sixty-five fire fighters and one administrative assistant.
The Jacksonville Fire Department is dedicated to the consistent delivery of high-quality emergency medical care, rescue, and fire protection to the citizens of Jacksonville. This is accomplished through EMS and Fire Suppression training, Public Education in Fire Prevention and Health Maintenance, Code Enforcement, and procurement of quality EMS, Fire, and Rescue equipment. We are committed to the preservation of life and property in our community, which includes our residents, businesses, and those who are visitors to our city. We strive to provide quality and efficient service to all of our customers.
The JFD provides both fire and EMS services to the citizens of Jacksonville, AR. We provide advanced life support ambulance transportation with three front-line ambulances. We respond to emergency and non-emergency events from four stations, which are strategically located to provide quick response throughout the city.
