This place is bustling and in a good way! The Tritip, Jalapeño Cornbread and Potatoes were great but the amazing food here is the homemade chocolate cake! Great ambiance!
Great food, great staff as always!! My recent visit I had a health issue and Sara one of the staff was kinda enough to bring me water and even checked in on me! The employees go above and beyond ALWAYS from my many visits here! Thanks again to Sara :Food: 5/5
Had to sit outside. Not bad atmosphere. Worst part was an employee who keep slamming shut the door where we were sitting. Customers have to open the door to get to the outside seating.Food: 4/5
Awesome salads. Super delicious! Chocolate cake is best ever!Food: 5/5
The food at Jake's is fantastic. I have ordered the nachos, the beef sandwich, salad, and definitely the chocolate cake, and all were delicious. Fair warning, this place gets hella busy at lunch on the weekdays and parking is a joke. I'd say the food is worth the trouble though.
First off, I didn't realize this is not like a sit down resturant, you order at a counter and are given your food there, then go find a table. As a chocolate cake lover, this one is just meh. It is overly sweet box cake mix/frosting. The tri tip is good, but overall this place was crowded, expensive, and the food was just ok.
You are given a tray, shown a quick menu on the wall, then put in line. If you're a first timer, it's very confusing. Telling the workers you don't know how this works results in them giving you a shrug. I asked which cornbread they recommend, and they didn't seem to like that question. Staff was kinda cold and rude, very off putting. The tri tip and cheesey potatoes are really good, the cole slaw was fine, and the corn bread was cold and forgettable. Don't get the cake. It's a simple buttercream frosting with hot chocolate mix and boxed cake mix. Very sweet, very bland. I split an entree with my wife, cost $30 with a drink and cake. The tri tip is good, but it doesn't outshine everything else to come back again.
Haven't been here since the remodel. Inside not changed too much, remodeled bathrooms and great patio areas. Great food as always, chicken salad with fritos is as good as ever.Food: 5/5
This is food that I always crave. The shredded beef sandwich, the taco salad, the creamy potatoes and best of all, that chocolate cake! It is the most delicious chocolate cake I've ever had!Food: 5/5
We have been here several times and it is always good. This particular time I had a shredded beef sandwich and it was good but it wasn't hot.. not even warm.. it was maybe room temperature but turned cold once I put BBQ sauce on it.. big disappointment
