My wife and I have enjoyed many special occasions at Jake's,  whether it's a birthday, an anniversary,  or just a nice night out. The service is always great,  as is the food. I highly recommend Jake's for any date night.Food: 5/5

We went to celebrate a birthday and Jake’s did not disappoint at all. We had a variety of steaks, scallops and the pork chop. The twice baked potatoes were amazing. The porterhouse steak for two was presented already sliced and was spectacular. The wait staff was amazing we couldn’t ask for better service.Food: 5/5

Have been coming here for ages [well, 15 yrs give or take] and Jake's is a reliable choice for great food and service. Doesn't matter if you're a walk in and sit at the bar, or have a reservation and sit in the dining room, the full menu is available!Food: 5/5

The food was fantastic and the server was great.  -We started the meal off with cheese curds. They were some of the best i have ever had. I highly recommend them! -Then for the main course I had a boneless ribeye with Mac n cheese and thin fries and my date had the trio of filets with roasted mushrooms a double baked potato. 'We finished the night with out first creme brulee. It was delicious.  My only issue was the seating was on raised platform so I had to be careful moving my chair back to leave/sit down.

Been here quite a few times and it never disappoints. The truffled deviled eggs are fantastic. Usually get a steak, which is always good, but most recently tried the duck and it was delicious.

My wife and I came for our anniversary. The staff added a little decoration to our table which we really appreciated. Overall, customer service was good.  The tomahawk steak and filet medallions  were amazing! Very juicy and flavorful. The sides were pretty good as well. I recommend the twice baked potato. Vegetables were a little soft but seasoned well.

Artistry and care go into every item on the menu.  Chef/owners are particularly careful and particular about the food, service and ambiance of their restaurants, and this one is special.   Being  open for over 60 years, says it all.  Young Jake Replogle, chef and owner, with his wife, Karen, run a restaurant that is wonderful for special occasions or just a burger at the bar.  Just ask several generations of families who are regulars, or me!

Fantastic place! This was our first visit. We walked in without a reservation not recommended and were seated right away. Our cheerful server told us about the menu and the off menu specials. She gave us time to look everything over before we started with the terrific onion soup.  Then we ordered the Porterhouse for two, delicious!  The pace of the meal was great, at no point did we feel rushed. Highly recommended for a special occasion, or just a nice night out.

My husband and I go to a steakhouse at least once a month. Jake’s used to be one of our top choices. Not after our last experience for his birthday. I order a steak medium. Rare for how it was served to me wouldn’t even be the right word. We found not one, but two black pet hairs in the twice baked potato, and our server couldn’t even be bothered to come back around to the table to ask if we would like another drink or refill water or anything. I tried reaching out to the restaurant directly before posting publicly and they didn’t get back to me. If I’m going to spend $200+ on a meal, I’ll do it elsewhere going forward.

First time here had a great experience. We were celebrating our son birthday 32 very classy and well done recognition of his birthday. We had steaks and of course a fish fry, it’s a Friday in Wisconsin and it’s a law I believe. Fish fry was good but paled in comparison to the “Cowboy Steaks” we had. Cooked to perfection and melted in the mouth. Forgot to mention had the Onion Ring appetizer. If love onions string this is a must. Huge bowl and enough for 3,  maybe 5 people. Drinks were great. Grasshopper a little running but tasted great and the cheesecake was perfect. It’s a $$$$$ price place so not a weekly stop but we will definitely be back.
