Anyone saying these animals are treated poorly is Damnned fool. Go to a farm and see how the livestock are treated. This privately owned zoo is a nice small time establishment. All of the animals looked healthy and happy. They weren't skittish towards people. If they were being abused by people, then why would they come up to you to eat from your hand? The false accusations have really messed this family's life up and probably ruined Thier business. I hope the best for them And plan to revisit for the THIRD time when they reopen.
Totally depressing. Seeing the breeding of deer, elk and bison and then knowing they'll either spend their entire lives behind closed in fencing or released for hunter's "enjoyment". Breeding any being for profit is detestable and unnecessary. I also heard and read that many of the animals have been treated poorly and/or neglected. What do you expect from a business that makes money from exploiting others?
I'm going to go out there today and report how it actually is, every single review I've seen by actual people that went there were good. There's a negative review of this place giving them a one star rating and if you look at the end of the comment it's all hearsay. So they literally are giving you a double bias opinion on something they haven't even gone to. I bet my kid loves it, I'll take pics and be honest.
