Absolutely the very best dental care I’ve ever had and I worked in the dental field for many years. Both Dr Fieldhouse and Dr Peterson are very patient and do not rush through explanations or procedures. They are very professional and compassionate towards their patients. The office clerks are so kind and pleasant! The dental hygienists are absolutely the best ! Everyone here just makes dental visits a pleasure! I cannot say enough about Dr Fieldhouse and his office!
Dr. Fieldhouse is very knowledgeable, thorough, and explains everything to you in understandable terms. He is looking out for your best interests. The staff is friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this dental office!
The entire experience was excellent. From checking in, to meeting Kelly and having x-rays, and then meeting Dr. Fieldhouse. I have never had a more comprehensive initial exam in all the years I’ve been going to a dentist. I am thrilled going forward with this group of professionals.
My experience was amazing! Everyone in the office is so friendly as always. Dr. Peterson explained everything from Dental exam to cleaning, to preventative and dental care maintenance, his assistant was amazing as well. My cleaning was very comfortable. Thank you Dr. Fieldhouse, Dr. Peterson and team!
Dr. Fieldhouse is by far the best dentist I've been to. Meticulous and takes his time to do the best for his patient. Also, a great person all around! Wish I had been with him from the start!
My recent visit to my new dentist actually was wonderful. Well, considering it was a dental visit! Dr Peterson was extremely informative, thorough and extremely sensitive to my concerns. I am very happy with the entire process. Also the staff are very attentive.
Dr Fieldhouse and his staff always treats my family and I as if we were their only patients. Of the many dentists I have had in my life, he is by far the very best. The Dean Family
This office has ethical problems. I contacted this office last Spring for a cleaning. As I was new they required a full checkup first, including complete x-rays. Dr. Peterson recommended a partial deep cleaning. I later asked about straightening my teeth with Invisalign. One tooth had receded up into the gums immediately after the braces came off. The retainer had not been designed to deal with this. Some others had shifted over the years. Dr. Peterson conjectured that the correction would take 5-7 plates and cost $1600-$2200. There would be a $100 fee for the initial scan, which could be applied to the cost of the treatment. It is easy to infer a price of $100 for the scan plus $300 per plate. I wasn't called when the results arrived back from Invisalign; Instead I had to call and ask if my results were in. Invisalign recommended 10 plates, which made the additional cost $3000. What is very questionable here is that Dr. Peterson informed me of an extra $500 retention fee now totaling $3500 outstanding, which he never mentioned on my initial visit! I asked some questions about retaining the receded tooth. Dr. Peterson's answers were not convincing. After I left, he sent me a link to Invisalign's website, which allows one to see the changes in the teeth which would be made with each plate. I later emailed Dr. Peterson to clarify his prognostication for retention and to ask about keeping the cost of retention down. This email should've provided Dr. Peterson with an opportunity to come up with better answers than he had given me in the office and hinted that there was something amiss in the the late introduction of the $500 retention fee, introduced after I had already paid for the scan based on the initial pricing scheme. Dr. Peterson's replied to my email by saying that I should seek an orthodontist's rather than his treatment to straighten the teeth. This is problematic after I paid for the scan, so I replied that I would like an electronic copy of my scan to take to the orthodontist so that I wouldn't have to pay for a scan twice. In reply their office resent me the link to Invisalign's website. I replied that I didn't want to be bound by Invisalign, and I wanted a version of the scan for which I paid that I could use with any provider. In fact, the orthodontist that I consulted uses 3M, not Invisalign! Moreover, I explicitly asked the orthodontist about retention fees, and there were none! Following this they sent me a link to download a copy of my scan. This was my last communication with their office. Over a month later, I received a letter, signed by both Drs. James Fieldhouse and Ryan Peterson telling me that their office would no longer treat me, because "[my] philosophy of dental work and that of [their] practice are not aligned". What is this misalignment of philosophies? 1. Seeking clarification to make sure that a treatment would be successful? There is no point in shifting teeth if you can't retain them. 2. Objecting to being back-doored on a $500 retention fee? 3. Insisting on a copy of the scan for which I've already paid, after being told mid-stream to seek treatment elsewhere,? 4. Expecting both medical and business ethics from a medical office and speaking up for myself? Additionally, the letter they sent me raises doubts about the status of my records, stating: "We will forward your dental treatment to your new office. Enclosed is a drive with a copy of your x-rays for your records. [new paragraph] Our intent is for you to find a different dental home ..." It is customary for medical/dental offices to stores records of any treatments they provide to a patient. These might be requested in future by several different offices. For example, I might go to one office for my next cleaning and then decide to try another for the following cleaning. I am under no requirement by law or custom to choose a "dental home" which stores records of treatments provided at other offices.
Dr. Fieldhouse and his staff are my trusted advisors for all of my dental needs, and have been for decades. They always go the extra mile to exceed my expectations.
Attention to detail, from appointment reminders to top-notch professional service is how I would describe this business. I've been a patient for 20+ years and have never been disappointed.
