I cannot say enough about Chris and his team. They were kind, caring, compassionate and very accommodating. Their attention to detail is incredible. They draped a flag over my dad when they came to the veterans home to bring him to the funeral home which meant the world to me. Highly recommend!
When my father passed away, Chris and the rest of the staff were more than helpful in making all of the arrangements and with the legal aspects. They were all so very kind, compassionate, and comforting to our entire family. We would recommend 100x over for their attention to detail, professionalism, and care in our time of loss.
I’m in the funeral industry and I’ve worked with the James family for over 21 years. For anyone to give them a bad review is beyond my comprehension. They are very professional, compassionate, understanding and accommodating. For someone to say that they stole their deceased family members flowers from a grave is just ludicrous. I’m guessing they don’t know that the deer come out at night and love to eat fresh flowers. I’m also guessing that they don’t know that heavy equipment has to go in and out of the area to dig the grave, put the burial vault in and close the grave. Do they expect a helicopter to come in and do the work? So with that said, I would recommend this funeral home, in my experience 10 out of 10 times for anyone that needs to have a loved one that is deceased taken care of.
This Funeral Home has been able to accomodate the very specific needs of our small space and flawlessly executes the most smoothly run visitations on-site we have ever experienced. Kudos to the James Brothers and staff!!!!
I buried my husband Bruce in May, and now my dad this week. Mark and Chris are so compassionate and caring, and take all the necessary steps to ensure you have everything you need. Would highly recommend.
The entire Wilson family did a phenomenal job on the planning and execution for our mom’s funeral. Extremely responsive, flexible, caring and genuine to meet all our family requests. They made the entire process seamless during a very difficult time. I would highly recommend the Wilson Funeral Home.
The worst service I've ever attended and I'm sorry my mother got such a horrible send off. Very insensitive to details, including having put her shirt on backwards for the viewing, and the final resting place was destroyed. We left the beautiful flowers that were bought for the burial all around her site and we were told they'd be layed out and taken care of, instead they were chopped up and taken and then they left our parents gravesite disrespectfully destroyed when we returned less than a day later.
Excellent people! These guys are all the most empathetic and wonderful people. They helped us at the worst time in our life.
Save your money. Go elsewhere. Do not use this Funeral Home. They are rude, insensitive, condescending phonies, especially Mark! To insult a distressed family member right before the funeral, is beneath contempt. I spoke to the other funeral director and his response was a smirk. Unbelievable! Use a better, ethical funeral home. There are many to choose from. Eliminate James Wilson Funeral Home in Lake Ariel, Pennsylvania.
We have used this funeral home for both of my parents as well as several pets. We were treated with both empathy and respect on every occasion.
