Hill house was located on Tower Parkway, I graduated class of 1949, from there to college and Dental school, eventually became an Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon. Returned to New Haven and practiced for several years before moving on . Forever grateful for a comprehensive education at my high school.
The staff are very unprofessional every time I come to this school none of them know anything... These are the people telling our kids what to but never know anything. The enivironment is horrible New Haven Public Schools have to do better!!!!
This is my school i have nice teachers and understandable ones i just love it that my home school where my heart my future and handwork lays
I had 3 daughter graduate from there but it was all on me, the staff does not communicate at all, sercuity officers play with the children way to much and counselors are never no where to be found.Your child has to want to making it to be in this school to much favoritism when it comes football and cheerleaders they can do what they want a d nothing is done
This school is terrible the schedules are always misorganized and the students are lurking in the hallway, smoking and fighting in the bathroom and the use of profanity by the students is beyond the control of the administrator's.
I love James Hillhoues High School gym and Art and Skills.
Turned out a lot of brilliant students
Positive learning atmosphere!
