BEWARE I have been with Farmers for over 10 years. I just learned that my insurance was canceled due to FARMERS SPECIALTY INSURANCE moving out of and no longer doing business in California since March Farmers specialty insurance James Miller representative for State Farm is not informing his customers when there are insurance issues with their policies.  offered a $3000 liability only policy for 6 months due to the mistake made? UPDATE Just got a notice that our registration was suspended due to not having an insurance policy. Which means after James Miller did not inform us that we would be canceled due to State Farm specialty moving out of California they sent a notice to the DMV stating we were not insured. Instead of informing there client. California insurance commissioner have been notified  UPDATE California Department of Insurance CSD Case #8526794 Update They have claimed to send the cancellation in the mail. THIS IS FALSE. This is what happens when you have a 3rd party take care of your insurance needs

James has been my insurance guy for at least 15 years now. He recently worked out an overcharge by my mortgage company on my behalf. All I had to do was send him a note, and the next Monday it was done and I had a fat check coming in the mail. Feels like a big company wrt professionalism but a small company wrt personal attention.

Very attentive to my needs and saving me money over existing policy

Great service. Quick and efficient. Answered all of my questions and more.

Good insurance. The problem is that they don't have anyone who speaks Spanish.
