My Journey
My journey has been a long, iterative and incremental process which continues to evolve every single day. I’ve traveled down an educational and experimental path to make some sense of the overwhelming amount of information available. Before I had the knowledge that I have now, I was easily influenced by what others deemed as “healthy”.
I’ve dabbled with supplements (legal ones!), fad-diets and pills for weight loss, muscle tone, and sports performance. I’ve gone through many phases of eating highly-processed, ultra-convenient and nutrient-free “foods” under false pretenses that these were healthy for me. I now eat a balanced diet full of whole foods that are as close to the living source as possible and as toxin-free as my current budget and lifestyle allows.
I have developed my own personal food preferences and healthy habits but had to make many unhealthy choices and dieting mistakes on the way to a healthy life. I have found that the phrase “being healthy” means something different to everyone. To me, being healthy means that my body, mind and spirit are all connected and functioning to the best of their ability. I currently strive for excellence and balance in all areas of my life including my mental health, career, relationships, nutrition, emotions, and spirituality.
It brings me joy to share with others what I’ve learned on my journey and to be a cheerleader for those looking to better and lengthen their lives, improve their physique, and decrease their risk of illness through their own lifestyle and food choices. If done in a sustainable and practical way, these choices will lead to long-lasting, healthy habits for life.

This allows me to focus on your needs and allows you to make healthy changes that are sustainable and easy to implement.
My Approach
Being healthy is not just a matter of how well you eat and how much you exercise. These are just two of many necessary tools that can be used to lead you in the right direction towards optimum and sustainable health.
I believe that everyone is completely unique when it comes to their health because there are so many different pieces that make up a person as a whole. Some of these factors include relationships, emotions, stress level, lifestyles, careers, genetics, cultural beliefs, income, physical fitness level and past experiences.
Whatever your starting point is, I will use a holistic approach to help you reach your health goals by considering all of the different aspects of YOUR life. Together we will work to create balance in the areas that need the most attention so that you can take and re-gain control of your health and your life!
