First time here and it felt like home. Met a friend here at the bar before dinner and had great service from the bartender. She was great and very sweet. It was Saturday afternoon she's there every weekend. Forgot her name Food was delicious and the chef was very funny and entertaining. Will he back soon.Food: 5/5
First time trying Habachi with my kids and we loved it. Made my birthday boy feel very special. Nice atmosphere and service.Food: 5/5
Great food and customer service they’re a bit pricey but so is everywhere else. Me and my husband got the hibachi steak very flavorful and juicy the rice was very moist and seasoned it comes with veggies with a side of soup or salad. You have the option of dining in or take out of course we got take out but if you dine in you can have your hibachi made in front of you. They have a professional Japanese sushi chef who prepares your order fresh which makes a difference.
5 yrs living in the area and never noticed this place, we came in for lunch but we sat on a regular table, I don’t give 5 starts just because on the sushi I felt it was not fully refrigerated/ fresh fresh the tuna was warm and didn’t like it other than that the mushrooms soup was delicious very similar taste to Benihanalooking forward to come back to try the hibachi table …
Restaurant has delicious food but store is in desperate need of a make over. Air condition is leaking everywhere, nothing like eating and having ac condensation dripping on you or in your food. Carpet needs to go and entire place needs a DEEP scrubbing. Time to close for a month and invest into your establishmentFood: 5/5
This place used to be so much better! Went there last night and it felt like 100 degrees while trying to eat. Too hot in there to enjoy the food. Also disappointed that they no longer give you noodles with the rice and veggies. Most importantly, I brought my two kids with me- 2 and 4 years old. I ordered them a kids steak to share- no kids menu listed on the menu. The lady told me it was available verbally but did not say what it came with or how much it cost. I ordered them each a kids lemonade and after dinner they each had a scoop of vanilla ice cream. When I got the bill, I saw the restaurant charged me $6 for each kids lemonade, and $6 a piece for the ice cream! I would have never expected that the kids drinks if not free would have been $6 a piece and same with the scoop of ice cream for dessert. Extra $24 on the bill just for those items. Very disappointed the way that went down. This place is over priced for the experience which seriously feel short. Kid-friendliness: Not very kid friendly. No kids menu so they tell you verbally what’s available for kids and then gauge you with the prices when you get the bill.
Hibachi dining - birthday lunch for the wifey. We had a party of 4 was seated very quickly at our hibachi table. We did share the table with 1 other party but we were all seated together and it was not awkward. Our server was knowledgeable and offered lots of suggestions and upsales… For drinks I ordered the hot sake and hot teaI enjoyed it. The wifey ordered the Tokio drink. It was properly made and sufficiently strong. For our meal we ordered the Tokio roll in addition to the hibichi entree. The Tokio roll was served with a spicy creamy sauce and eel sauce. Both sauces were delicious and the roll tasted good with both of them. I had the hibachi steak and chicken the steak was cooked medium and was very flavorful! The chicken was also cooked well and was very flavorful. They always give you a generous portion and I always look forward to my left overs… Allergy note: make sure to tell the hibachi chef that there is allergies at the table so they can cook the dishes separately.
Place was good when for my daughter’s birthday. Food was good the prices definitely went up .. pretty much just like everywhere else. Server was very good and attentive. Fans blowing directly on us was a bit annoying.
I like Japan inn I been coming here for over 7 years although the food is good this will be my last time coming here. Every time I go the price goes higher and higher for no reason. Me and my daughter went for dinner and I got a bill for 150 for chicken and rice it definitely not worth it. Not only do they add the servers tips automatically the most unattractive thing the server did was follow us to the car and demand more of a tip. I was livid not only do I feel robbed for what I just paid but that right there was the end of it for me. Japan do better the prices and servers are ridiculous.
We visited here on 6/10/23 and had reservations for 1930. I had asked for 1900 so our kids could have more time together after dinner, but they told me it would have to be 1930. We arrived, and there were about 20 or so people outfront. Inside, there were about 15 people swarming the hostess stand. I was told it would be a 30-minute wait even though we had made reservations. About 40 minutes later, we were seated and immediately noticed the temperature was so high, but the vent fans above the hibachi were also not working. This made for a VERY unpleasant experience for everyone in the restaurant. People were fanning smoke out of their faces with whatever they could find. When we asked management, they told us the vent fans worked find, which was an outright lie. On top of that, they placed a fan near our table that didn't oscillate, so while half of us died from heat and smoke, the other half had their hair blown unto their faces and eyes drying out. You'd think they'd offer a discount or some kind of an apology, but they wouldn't even admit they were in the wrong. The health department will definitely be making an appearance there soon, and I can only imagine what else they will find.
