My fiancé and I had an amazing experience at Jared's. We had already purchased my engagement ring there and went back for my wedding band. Connor, our salesman, was amazing. He was so helpful and patient with me while I was trying to decide which ring I wanted. If you're looking for engagement or wedding rings, stop by Jared's in Tacoma and ask for Connor, you won't be disappointed.
I LOVE THIS JARED LOCATION. I’ve been a long time customer of a different location, but finally came here and they absolutely stole my heart. They definitely have a bigger selection to choose from, but they have an absolutely amazing general manager named Carolyn who just gave me one of the best shopping experiences of my life. I’ll be doing all my jewelry purchases here from now on. Update: Bill and Allyssa are amazing as well! Honestly every employee has been super friendly and helpful. You can feel their willingness to help even if you aren’t their customer.
Ten years ago I was shopping for a 20th wedding anniversary gift for my wife. As such I didn't know exactly what would interest her and I took her on a shopping expedition to several jewelry stores in Tacoma to get an idea. At Jared, the female salesperson took note of what my wife really liked and said she would keep it on file should I return to make a purchase. About two weeks later I returned to make a purchase based on this. The employees there couldn't find the referenced note on my wife's likes. It was tossed. As such, I didn't make my purchase there and spent four figures at another local professional store, one I've returned to many times. Jared failed me totally by tossing my wife's preferences away making shopping there impossible. My time there was totally waisted twice! I vowed to never return. Now it's our 30th wedding anniversary and I am again shopping for yet another fabulous gift for her as she deserves it! But unfortunately Jared is crossed off my list for good as their employees inexperience and lying cost me time which is money lost. I'm glad they can afford to lose business as I'll never waste another minute with them...
Have had an account with Jared's for over a decade and have spent plenty at this particular location. Today may be the last time I attempt to shop here. I was locked out as soon as I attempted to open the door. The sales rep looked at me multiple times and told me with his finger to just wait. Not once has this ever happened. I was only allowed in when another customer attempted to open the door for me. As soon as I walked in I did not feel welcomed. The same rep who saw me seemed agitated that I was now in store. This felt like a perfect example of being stereotyped. Apparently having the wrong pigmentation does not allow you into the store or lobby. I have to wait outside until they allow me in. As soon as I stepped in, I turned around and made my way out. I do not want to spend money with this particular store if they plan to stereotype customers. Absolutely disgusted with the customer service here.
My first time coming to this Jared Service 28919934 and I am beyond astonished management would keep in their staff roster a truly incompetent jewelry shop associate. I brought a pearl bracelet to be restrung to fit my wrist. I gave specific instructions to remove only two pearls and restring the rest in the same appearance/arrangement since the pearls came in different shapes. Photos were taken of the bracelet and I was told to return at a later date. When I returned to pickup the bracelet I noticed two issues immediately. First, the pearls were not arranged in the same original pattern, and second a section of the string appeared one slight tug away from snapping. I gave the bracelet back to the associate and asked for the pearls to be arranged in the pattern shown in the original photo, and I also pointed out the string that was about to snap. I left the store astonished that the shop associate assigned to restring my pearl bracelet had no eye for balance, details, and aesthetics. When I returned several days to pick up the bracelet I noticed two new issues. First the closure had been completely changed from the original closure and second, the pearls were not arranged like the original photo. At this point I lost complete confidence in this Jared location so I just took the bracelet and accepted the new arrangement of the pearls on the string, plus I was getting ready to leave for a trip and would not have the time to deal with a third service request. I told myself I would never come to this Jared again and I didn't even bother to fill out the feedback request I received by email. THE REASON I am taking the time now to leave this negative review on Google Maps is because 12 days after I picked up the bracelet the string by the closure snapped! The bracelet snapped at the slightest tug while I was taking off a winter jacket! Looking closely at the snapped section I could see that a glue of some sort had been used to harden the ends of the string and the hardened string got comprised since it didn't allow for natural flexibility of the string. Overall I just wasted $125.34. I am never ever coming to this Jared in Tacoma again. I am beyond astonished this Jared employs an incompetent Jewelry Shop Associate, truly beyond astonished.
Aimee has helped me for the last 7 or so months design a pendant I've always wanted. She was so patient, helpful, and very thorough. I'm so happy with the piece. We have also purchased a few other non custom pieces and have been very happy.
We came in today to look at engagement rings, and there was a fabulous collection to look over! We ended up purchasing a beautiful set as well as a mens band. The customer service from Elke and Carolyn was amazing and we had so much fun working with them! They are both professional, knowledgeable and have amazing personalities.We will most definitely be back! Thank you so very much you two for a great shopping experience. K&B
I have been a Jared Cardholder for over 15yrs, I have spent over $35k with Jared in several states. This location is indeed the poorest in Customer Service, the sadder reality is this location has an excellent inventory for Omega. I dropped off a Tag Heuer Aquaracer still under warranty for a date cycling issue. On intake the Jeweler chose to take one picture of the watch before it was sent out to Tag. I knew that was unusual as the Tukwila location took 6 of a previous send off. I was told 5 to 6 weeks before it would be in and I'd get a call. 6 weeks later no call...I call and yes it's "been here for a little bit". I drive an hour in today to pick it up, thankfully I checked the watch before I left to the store. To my absolute AMAZEMENT I could easily see heavy damage to the clasp exterior. This watch was easily in close to flawless condition and sent in a Tag Travel case. I was shocked that not only Tag would send it that way but that the Jared Employees that received it didn't say anything!!! I was EXTREMELY disrespected by an Employee named Yolanda that found it amusing with her smerk while I explained my dismay. The Manager, not sure of his name, obese White male was almost equally unhelpful and even stated that my complaining didn't need to be heard. I was absolutely shocked by their behavior and will be calling Corporate until I reach someone. Follow through is something I am passionate about, almost as much as my belief in Customer Service. Stay away from Jared and especially this location. I have to wait another who knows how many weeks to get my $3k watch that malfunctioned and now was damaged while fixing.
Went to 6 different stores looking for a very particular ring for our 20th, nobody had it except Jared. The selection is top notch, customer service was excellent, and they had the ring we wanted on sale. Financed interest free, and out the door in no time, prize in hand.
I have always gotten great service here, and have never had any problems as far as quality of the jewelry. The staff is very courteous and friendly, but not overly so; not pushy. I came in today to get help with my ring that is too big now, and the lady who helped me gave me the ring size adjuster for free, as well as a new necklace box for free when I asked if I could buy one. As well as a great deal on a new necklace ; I've also bought other jewelry here years ago. They always backed up the warranty and took care of cleanings, and do a perfect job on resizing, at a very reasonable price as well as appraisals!. I would recommend this place to anyone who needed to buy jewelry for any occasion
