Last month mid November 2017, I stopped at the JARED Jewelry store to have a new battery placed in my Seiko quartz watch. The battery was free but we had to purchase a stuffed toy to be donated to children, I was pleased with the service provided. The battery ran for about one week, I returned to the store to have the battery replaced, no problem, HOWEVER, AGAIN THE BATTERY DID NOT WORK. At this time I was very concerned , is it my watch or 2 faulty batteries . I went to my jeweler in the city of Orange, it took him 3 minutes to replace the battery , I FINALLY HAVE MY WATCH IN WORKING ORDER. VERY DISAPPOINTED!
I bought an opal ring with small blue topaz and diamonds in the setting. Thank Goodness I got the protection plan for it, because the opal has fallen out twice already! On the second time going in for repair, the associate told me I need to properly quality inspect it before I sign for it. What?! Why should I have to inspect YOUR work? I went to pick it up and the blue topaz were no longer blue. I pointed it out and the clerk didn't know what what I meant and had to get another ring for comparison. She said when they fixed the opal, they forgot a metal coating that "brings out the blue" in the topaz. If you ask me, they replaced the topaz with the wrong stones. I am sorely disappointed and now I have to drag myself back there for them to fix it a third time.
I had the pleasure of working with Judy at Jared Mission Viejo. I had been quoted 20-30 thousand dollars for the engagement ring I wanted by private jewelers. Not very good news to hear by any means. I decided to stop in and see what they have to offer and was shocked to learn of their ability to find the perfect stone, at a price no one else could beat. Judy is a professional, an expert, and sets expectations precisely. I still cannot believe she pulled off a ring that has a stone much larger than the competition, for a price they absolutely could not compete with same gradient, cut, etc. I would recommend anyone to work with Judy. Her knowledge is backed by years of experience and she is the sweetest person you’ll ever meet. Judy, you absolutely hit a walk off home run - I’m so thankful I decided to meet you.
