10/25/2018 A jeep swerved into oncoming semi. Semi driver couldn't avoid and jeep was crushed like a tin can. Gas pouring from jeep and smoking. Women trapped inside. Several citizens jumped from car. We all helped turn jeep upright, called for help. One of us brought fire extinguisher. 3 others stayed with victim assessed LOC. She was in extreme pain but oriented to time place and person. Pour women driving semi wasn't hurt but in distress and shaky. You guys showed up post haste and got to work with your 'jaws' and safely removed her from wreckage. Paramedics on the scene, we left. As 5 PICU nurses of many years, we appreciated your role in responding to this situation quickly and effectively! You and all the ordinary citizens who responded should be proud. There is so much negative chatter in the world today, it is reassuring and uplifting to see positivity and appropriate, heroic response in action!!!! Thank you all for restoring some faith in human nature!!!! It was also GREAT TO SEE HUMANS COMMUNICATING EYE-TO-EYE without cell phones in hand. God Bless you all!!!! HUGS to all!!!!
