Staff was very helpful, friendly and professional. Check in with Adrian was a pleasure, and Curtis made me feel very comfortable with preparing for my MRI procedure. All questions were answered by the entire staff.
Love the emergency department staff. They were patient with me. I went there a few days ago and they are great people especially the one guy I forgot his name I know his last name started with a v he's great
We have received excellent care from everyone here. From the registration personnel to the nurses, doctors, anesthesiologist, CT technicians, and lab personnel. Everyone has been friendly, helpful, caring, and most important they did their jobs well. They were right on schedule and the hospital was also very clean. We are so thankful and appreciative of everyone who helped us.
I had my mamo on the 22 at about 930 am. I did not catch girls name since Im hard of hearing. She was very patient with me with my hearing. I also have back issues that makes it hard to stand long. She was the first to ever suggest sitting in a chair to do it. Most comfortable mamo I have had in years. TY
I went to the E.R. on 8/25/22. I was immediately put at ease by nurse Shannon, who greeted me with a friendly smile and kind words. The entire care team I had Dr. Cotter, Shannon, Summer, Amy, Chris from CT were tremendous! They were the epitome of what amazing healthcare workers should be. Quite difficult to come by these days. They were attentive, made sure I was comfortable, didn't leave me in the room wondering how many hours I'd have to wait for the next test to be done. I was well informed, and they operated like a well oiled machine. Outstanding teamwork and continuity of care. I was there for less than 2 hours, and they did ALOT in that time. Forever grateful for these people
This is the absolute worst E.R I’ve ever been to. They treat you like absolute garbage unless your like almost dying sick. The E.R nurses are rude.. and so is most Drs on shift. They don’t even try and understand your problem. They just give you whatever and send you on your way. Horrible horrible place.
I really can't comment on a stay but I have had several tests done in the last month. Every single time I went to this hospital I was greeted by a friendly staff member and escorted to a friendly and efficient admissions person. The tests I had were done by complete professionals with a jovial personality which helped calm my nerves. I love this hospital because it is quaint, friendly and convenient. I now live in Indiana so I'm used to City hospitals in Chicago and let me tell you this is refreshing and a lovely change. If you want rude and rushed go to a Chicago hospital. The system in it entirely is pushed to the limits right now and the expectations should also include some forgiveness for these overworked nurses and physicians. I am very pleased with my choice.
I spent 13 days in Franciscan Hospital with Covid pneumonia, pulmonary embolism and blood clots on my lungs. I was in serious trouble and near death. With all the bad media about hospitals, I was reluctant to go but so glad I did. They saved my life. I have a new respect for the medical field, the are my hero's. Everyone there from the doctors, nurses, radiology, respiratory, lab, dietary, house keeping was so professional, caring, provided awesome heath care. I can even take it a step farther, I can honestly say the whole hospital was praying for me, their spouses and their churches. It was amazing. I am forever grateful to so many people at Franciscan and would like to name a few - Brenda, Michelle, Deb, Susan, Mari, Deanna, Jess, Kendra, Kayden, Kari, Dr. Patel, Dr. Mazzen, thank you so much for taking care of me. If I didn't mention your name, so sorry. Many you I call friends. God bless each and everyone of you, good and faithful servants.
It is really sad to see how ineffective our system is. My daughter was taken to the ER last night, just wanting to talk. As soon as the word "suicidal" was brought up, she was shut down. The Dr. had her shipped off to a facility . Didn't care that isn't wanted she wanted she is an adult or that we have been doing this for 6 years and these trips to different facilities don't work. This Dr. could of cared less, he pushed her out the door...he never checked back up on her in the 5 plus hours she was there and never even came and talked to me when I arrived. We so weren't worth his time. There was only one other patient there, so busy wasn't a issue. I miss the days of our local Dr's being on call, at least they gave a damn. There was a male nurse that was wonderful and he was trying to make up for the lack in bed side manner the Dr. had. To add insult to injury she had to be transported by JCP , shackled in the back of the police car. The officer was nice and was following protocol..I get that. But what good is that for someones mental health ...and all she wanted was someone to talk to. ... I had to put one star, so it would post...how sad
So 5 days ago my husband started having shaking episodes. We had him brought by ambulance to this hospital 3x. The last 2 times they were rude and gave him fluids and sent him home, blaming it on him being a diabetic. I told them it wasn't it but the get aggravated and kept him less then 2 hours the last 2 times. Cut to this morning at 4am, he has a grand mal seizure because they couldn't look past him being a diabetic to anything else. Do not go here.
